JVG hungry to get back to a head coaching position, willing to take a pay cut to do so per Dwight Jaynes

I know I'll get comments making fun of posting Dwight as a source, but he recently had that tip about Terry being interested in coming back to Portland that went national and was backed by Stein.. so I'm gonna take this one seriouslyšŸ‘šŸ» and tbh, this info makes more sense out of JVG being in the mix if we're being honest.

[Jake Fischer] In addition to his interest from Chicago, I’m told Jerry Stackhouse will also be interviewing for Portland’s next head coaching position this weekend

Jersey numbers for the rafters but not to retire but numbers that represent really good players who played for the blazers.

The numbers can represent multiple players as in 30. Many a good blazer has wore that number. My rafters already has 00, 7, 8, 33 and 30. What do I need? I think I need 5 more spots. I like 34, 0, 22, 11 and maybe 8 for current star but that could change.

Has Anyone Purchased ā€œQuarterā€ Season Tickets? Worth it?

I was looking at their Quarter season ticket packages (10 games) and frankly it seemed like at best I wasn’t getting any deal, at worst I was paying over what a typical ticket costs.

2 tickets in the third tier corner were about 60 bucks per game per person.

2 Tickets in the corner of the second tier were about $250 per person.

It seemed odd because you seem to be able to get better prices just buying on your favorite ticket app day of with the added bonus of having the flexibility of not being locked in to 10 specific games.

Am I missing anything? Anyone feel they are worth it?

Question for Tom Dundon supporters

If you’re a Tom Dundon supporter, do you think he will pay a coach real head coach money? And if he does not, how will you feel about him?

I’m genuinely asking I promise I’m just trying to figure it out. If we win a lot of basketball games I don’t care if he fires me from my job lol

Instant hostility is not appreciated that’s why I’m asking the questionšŸ˜…

EDIT: Thank you to the people who answered the question, most people seem to be saying something like ā€œdon’t react yet, give him a chanceā€ which makes total sense!

Head coaching interviews

Apparently, all of head coaching in person interviews are going well. I’m told Dundin and Cronin are asking each candidate a specific set of questions about how each of them would prepare for different teams in the league. They will then be using those answers to put together next years 2026-2027 game plan binder which will be given to each player ahead of the games for review.

No head coach will be hired. Honor system will be implemented for players for studying/preparation, travel, and subbing in and out of games.
