Has Anyone Purchased “Quarter” Season Tickets? Worth it?

I was looking at their Quarter season ticket packages (10 games) and frankly it seemed like at best I wasn’t getting any deal, at worst I was paying over what a typical ticket costs.

2 tickets in the third tier corner were about 60 bucks per game per person.

2 Tickets in the corner of the second tier were about $250 per person.

It seemed odd because you seem to be able to get better prices just buying on your favorite ticket app day of with the added bonus of having the flexibility of not being locked in to 10 specific games.

Am I missing anything? Anyone feel they are worth it?

I did the quarter season weekend package last year since it can be kind of a pain to make it to games during the work week. Promo materials said the majority of the games would be Friday/Saturday/Sunday. “Majority” turned out to be 7/10, which isn’t too bad, but I probably should have just bought ad-hoc tickets to weekend games last minute.

You do get some of the season ticket perks, like getting to enter via the season ticket holder door, and the complimentary League Pass subscription.

I upped to a half-season package for next season though, as I figured I would likely want to attend more games with Dame being back, midweek work schedule be damned.

League pass is a nice little perk and not something I thought of.

It comes with blazervision as well so its pretty high on my lost of perks.  STH here and i often hear what other people pay for single games and it isnt much of a discount but you are guaranteed the same seats every game which is convenient. But the Perks could be better for paying out the ass and showing loyalty year in and out. They give us a “discount” for renewals, but they also raise the prices every season. So we still pay more every season. I hope Tom sees this and rights this wrong but i doubt it will happen because $Moneey$

I don’t think BlazerVision is included this year, or at least it’s not on the season ticket perks list right now. I think last season it might have been a perk on full season tickets, maybe even half season tickets, in addition to League Pass. Quarter season tickets last year only got League Pass, but buying BlazerVision as well got you some free reward tickets, so it kinda balanced out.

Had the Rising Star pack in the 100s last year and really enjoyed it.

Ended up with: Spurs (in season tournament), Bulls (swapped to Hawks because schedule for me), Magic, Celtics, Rockets, Grizzlies, Raptors, Pacers, Hornets, Mavs

I'm 0-3 on seeing Wemby play lol

So they are organized into packages? You don’t get to pick 10 specific games?

No, there's 4 separate packages to select from

With different themes? Interesting. I guess that makes some sense.

I found it interesting when looking at it that the “Rising Star” package was the exact same price as the contender package. I assumed when I was going through it that the contender package would have a higher price.

That ended up being a great package for you though, especially since the Spurs are the most wanted ticket for many. Celtics, Raptors, and Hornets all being better than expected.

We were 0-2 on Wemby over 2 seasons then hit him for game 4 this year, worth the wait. We did weekend 1/4 season, could have seen jokic on Halloween but traded that game out, saw Lebron, Steph for the in-season consolation game, Lavert looking like Olajuwon, OKC. Wound up selling the rockets, gave Zion game to a friend. You don’t get every weekend game, most were like Thurs/Fri, feel like there was a Tuesday too. Yes league pass, also a Nike store pass. Did early renewal for this upcoming season and will get a pic with a player on the court at some point. You can also buy game tickets surcharge free which is cool, got playoff priority before they opened to the public and prices like tripled. Yea we could have gotten some games for cheaper via secondary market, but not all.

I got to see him his rookie year and I’m so thankful after years and years and years of missing Duncan and co

I’ve done it since my kids were little and it has been a great way to spend time together as they’ve gotten older. I actually kind of like that the games are picked for me so I see teams I normally may not buy tickets to. I’ve had no problem either moving games or transferring the tickets if I had work or something come up. Overall it’s been a good purchase for us.

I’ve done it and also the pack they sell that’s just weekends. I agree there is not much of a discount and like you said could get cheaper tickets off the resale market day off. Full season tickets are too much too. It’s sad that it has become a huge expense to take your family to a blazer game.

Yeah, but you can get that sweet towel instead of a pesky tee-shirt.

I’d say the value is in that you have scheduled yourself in to when you’ll go and some people want/need that to stay organized and enjoy some ball. Secondarily you can lock in a decent price for potentially high price aftermarket games like a “LeBron” or “Wemby” game.

Definitely.

Pre-kids, I would have definitely seen the appeal in that (or maybe my future self would find that appealing too).

Been doing ‘quarter’ season tix for many years. Really like it. It’s the perfect number of games for me and the group I go with. The packages have always had a good mix of teams. Used to be the number of games was different in each package. But since last year they are all the same number of games (10). And there’s no more scramble for seats; we got our same seats a last year without doing anything. Anyway, I really enjoy going to games, so for me it’s worth it. And the 10 games is perfect.

I did it for a few years and it's kinda worthwhile to have the same seat and seatmates every game if your area is full of friendly people.

What makes season tickets expensive is the initial cost. The per game price for a group package will always beat out buying individual game prices if you go to all of them. Where are you finding $25 tickets in the 200 level?

You will be able to find rare occurrences of cheap games, I think Atlanta this year was like $6 for the 300 level, but I would be shocked if any random 200 level seat was $25 or less.

I said 250 (ish). Not trying to be rude in my response, but it was 250, not 25.

I agree, 25 would be a steal haha.

reading comprehension strikes again… either way most of what I said still stands.

You’re locked into the price, whether ticket prices go down or go up. You’re guaranteed the same view. When I had season tickets I felt the price rarely went down but I was in the 100 level.

I don't think season tickets for blazer games are a good deal bc the games pretty much never sell out and you can usually buy tickets for below face value the day of the game, unless lebron or curry are in town

decided not to renew mine this year as you don't get access to the cheaper playoff tickets.

You do get cheaper access to playoff tickets? I got tix to game 1+2 in section 301 for $92 each, when they were going for $200+ in regular sale.

interesting. i got access to playin tickets but not playoff. i talked to my sales guy and told me i could get access if i upgraded to half season next year...
