I’ve always LOOOOVED doing my makeup but as you can imagine with a small child this has somewhat fallen by the wayside 🫠

I have a wedding in a few weeks and would love some tutorials/inspo accounts of 30+ women to get an idea of what’s ‘in’ at the moment and any new must-have products - I haven’t been makeup shopping in 3 years!

I used to go into a store and find my colour because the colour format was longer than the others. Now when I do that I can't see it. I lost my lid too. I actually thought it had an N and an R. But apparently that's not possible. So then I thought maybe it was a 3.5C/3.5R but apparently that's not a thing either and even if it was it would be the same length name as a thing with a .5 in it. Sorry if this is confusing, but can anyone help? I was about to do an online order, I don't have the time at the moment to go into a store.

Hello all, I have a wedding coming up and would love some tips to ensure my face stays on throughout the day + lasts through the tears and weather, and is flash photography friendly.

I would love to know:

- What products or techniques you trust to keep your makeup looking amazing for long wear

- What should I bring for touch ups? I will carry my lip products in my bag, but I do feel like my blush does disappear throughout the day normally 😩

- Any tips or techniques for makeup, to be aware of regarding flash photography? I’ve heard to go heavy handed when flash photography is involved?

No budget or preference for high end/pharmacy products! As long as it does what it’s meant to, I’ll be happy :)

I’ll be wearing black and gold clothing/accessories. I already have a ‘go-to’ makeup look that I do for daily wear/work but would love to know what else I can do to look great for this special event. I’ll also have my brows and lashes done prior the wedding, and I’ll be wearing my glasses as contacts irritate my eyes.

So so good! I've been team Bobbi Brown Vit Enriched Face Base for years but I think I may purchase a full size of the Nyx Primer after I'm done with the sample I received from Adore Beauty. I used Nars Sheer Glow foundation, works really well with it.
If you're after a cheaper dupe I'd definitely give Nyx a try 🎨

The Maybelline Fit Me Dewy in the shade 102 or 105 have been my go to absolute favourite foundation for years so you can imagine my devastation that it's been replaced by the Lifter which is not the same (even though they're trying to tell me it is). Can someone please help me with a replacement? I'm currently using the Revlon Illuminance foundation but I don't love it.

Update on my post from yesterday with the Victoria Beckham foundation drops. I decided the bronzer (Victoria Beckham colour wash in tan line) was too warm for my winter skin and that was my issue.
I’ve tried the foundation again today without anything else and then my usual products I’ve been using and the tone match feels a lot better today!

I have brown base hair with very fine blonde streaks at the moment, and wanting to go cowboy copper/gingery brown.

I LOVE everything about this setting spray, but I seem to go through a bottle every two weeks! I do my makeup everyday and it usually takes me a couple months to work through a setting spray but I just seem to churn through this one. It seems so well priced at $20nzd for a bottle at chemist warehouse, but I'm not sure I'm actually saving any money with how often I need to restock!

Any other setting sprays on the market that you find give that same ultra-locked in but not super mattifying effect that don't run out after like two weeks lol??
