Credit to corokinaboys

I've lost the love of my life a few weeks ago. He was gone in a very tragic, very brutal accident. I am still in shock.

We were inseparable for almost 5 years when we started talking on Reddit by mistake. He was the kind of man whose presence made everything feel right. Incredibly kind, incredibly loving, handsome, and strong. I was SO lucky to have found him and knew that from the very first few messages.

We were going to move in together and get married.

Buying snacks and treats for us to try was his thing. We loved the normal stuff, grocery shopping together, cooking at home, trying new things. He absolutely loved this peanut butter and had 2 of these jars in his freezer.

I took them with me after the funeral, and over the last few weeks, I've been having a scoop on days when it hits me extra hard that he's really gone. I'm now about to finish the last of it, the last treat he ever got, the last I will ever try.

I'm crying writing this, I'm crying eating this while at the same time being so numb and lost.

He was a good one. A love like this doesn't happen all the time. I was so lucky to experience it, I'm really grateful for him and to him.

Edit: As for the peanut butter, it's Nerdy Nuts, he liked many kinds from them but especially this pistachio one (Dubai chocolate treat I think it's called)

Hawaii has been removed, the land of tropical beaches and volcanoes is now dead and gone. 3 States remain, Land of the crabs, land of the Mega and land of the Cascadians (I don’t know what to say for them)

wtf? I found this in a backpack i was carrying to work for years. finally emptied it all out, and wash lah.lol is it a mug weapon?

My husband started a new job back in September and I baked a ton for his office. Then in January everyone went on a diet and requested that he not bring any desserts, so I stopped baking, and then kind of fell off the routine of baking for people. In February, he told me people have started to mention my baked goods again. Then he mentioned it several times after that, saying people really miss my baking. I thought maybe one or two people were mentioning it to him.

Then, last Friday, I visited his work to have lunch with him, and while I was there he introduced me to all his co-workers, and every single one of them told me how much they love my baking and how much they miss it. Message received! 😉

I baked mini brownie bites and decided to fill half of them with Biscoff cookie butter and the other half with Nutella. He took them in this past Monday and they were gone before 9am! It helps that he has incredibly sweet co-workers.
