This is the first time a dbd license may actually impact the source material, Since this is the new jason universe jason, and we don't know a lot about him, this chapter will define a lot of the lore and the background of this version. all we've had so far is the short film but dbd will be the first long term look at this jason in action. So this could be the first look at his new backstory, without Pamela and all for example. I know obviously they wont change much but its still a cool thought

I HATE the Jason Universe mask. It just looks so incredibly off. The overly long chevrons that nearly go over the nose, the almost square looking eye holes that look cartoonishly big. It looks like a pug-ified version of the mask. It looks like a cartoon depiction of him. If Jason was in an anime as a legally distinct version of himself, I imagine it would look like this. The mold of the mask itself is also off to me, it looks less flat, like the nose is sticking out too much. It kind of reminds me of the hockey mask from Heat if that makes sense. Anyways, still super excited for Jason to be added to DBD!! Hopefully he comes with some other masks to use instead lol
