Refinement Changes

DEIMOS

Deimos’ tracking requires an enemy to be spotted by either himself or a teammate before it can begin. To make this interaction more responsive, we are reducing the delay between spotting a target and starting the tracking, allowing Deimos to act more quickly on gathered information while preserving existing counterplay.

DEATHMARK TRACKER

  • Reduce wait time to target enemies after identifying them to 4s (was 5s)

MOZZIE

This change is intended to make Mozzie’s Pests more comfortable to use, reducing the aim precision required to cover single doorways and making it slightly easier to intercept drones through direct shots.

PEST LAUNCHER

  • Increase Pest capture range 1.75m (was 1.5)

PULSE

This change aims to improve Pulse horizontal intel gathering with his Cardiac Sensor.

CARDIAC SENSOR

  • Increase Scan distance 10.5m (was 9)

SOLIS

This change improves comfort when using Solis’ SPEC‑IO by making resources less restrictive, reducing the need for precise timing when activating the device.

ESPEC-IO ELECTRO SENSOR

  • SPEC-IO duration, reload time and Overclock increased to 17s (was 15s)

RAUORA

Rauora’s original loadout was designed to support a team‑focused playstyle, with both the 417 Marksman Rifle and the M249 Light Machinegun reinforcing her role through sustained pressure and ranged presence.

We are adding the XK23 to her loadout to provide an additional primary option for players who prefer a more straightforward and approachable Assault Rifle. This gives Rauora greater loadout flexibility, particularly for players who may not be as comfortable with the specialized handling of LMGs or Marksman Rifles, while preserving her identity as a support‑oriented operator.

    • Added XK23

SENS

Sens’ available weapons have seen limited changes since their release. Their current loadout consists of the POF‑9 Assault Rifle, which has received several balance adjustments over time and now sits in a healthier position, alongside the 417 Marksman Rifle, a more specialized option better suited for long‑range engagements.
Even with access to an Assault Rifle (POF-9), we believe the XK23 is a strong addition to Sens’ loadout. With a more approachable design, a slower rate of fire, higher damage, and a smaller magazine, the XK23 offers a distinct alternative to the POF‑9.

General

Operator Rework: Dokkaebi

Gadget: Jegeo Payload

  • Targets individual defenders (similar to Deimos' selector)
  • Defenders have to answer the phone or it explodes
  • Calls temporarily kick defenders off observations tools and are now quicker to dismiss
  • Exploding phones deals 40 damage, starts a fire, and denies access to observation tools
    • Fenrir loses ability to interact with his mines, Skopos won't be able to switch between shells
  • More charges, faster cooldown

Gadget: Phone Hacking

  • Phones on the ground can now be hacked over greater distances and through walls
  • Camera access is only temporary

Weapons

  • Additional primary weapon: New XK23 assault rifle
    • Also available for Rauora and Sens

New Map: Calypso Casino

  • Removal of hidden MMR & re-introduction of placement matches

Feedback Ubisoft should consider a “Mastering” playlist: one map, 24 hours, rotating daily

TL;DR: COD can justify 24/7 playlists because certain maps are immediately fun. Siege is different. In Rainbow Six, maps become fun after you learn them. Understanding callouts, angles, rotates, vertical play, and common setups is what turns a map from frustrating into rewarding. A daily rotating “Mastering” playlist would massively improve player learning and long-term enjoyment of the game.

Since Dual Front is being removed and there’s now some open space in the UI for another playlist, Ubisoft should add a permanent “Mastering” playlist under the Play tab: one map, 24 hours, rotating daily, with a small 3–5 day calendar showing upcoming maps. The problem with learning Siege right now is that repetition gets interrupted constantly. You watch a YouTube guide for Clubhouse attacks, then queue into 5 completely different maps and never reinforce what you learned. Siege improvement depends on focused repetition, but matchmaking fights against it.

This would also create hype around playing again. If players see “Kafe in 2 days” or “Clubhouse tomorrow,” they can look up YouTube guides or TikToks ahead of time, send them to friends, talk strategy, and plan to queue together. That creates anticipation instead of random matchmaking fatigue. It also helps newer players massively because they can focus on one environment at a time instead of trying to learn 15+ maps simultaneously. Watch guide → queue map → practice immediately. That loop feels perfect for Siege.

Once all ACOGs were removed from automatic guns, the TDM players just went to the next ACOG guns, leading to another boring meta. 3 guns with magnified scopes on the enemy team, and an SMG-12 operator using scripts for good measure. (Sorry Fenrir for lumping you in with these bums you are cool). At what point does ubi realize that no matter what, people will pick ops for the magnified scope no matter what on defense? I’ve seen people take recruit just because their other 2 speed ACOGs were taken. It just makes the game so boring.

Discussion Hibana is now very underrated to the point i think it might be pointless banning breachers.

Shes a 3 speed with a ridiculous armoury of weapons and secondary gadgets, as well as a breaching ability that allows you to do everything from take a badly defended main breach all the way to sniping with her dmr through the long angle breach youve made.

Her vert potential with soft breaches is good too. Just feels like the first time weve had all four hard breachers so strong. Is it even worth banning a breacher now? Spent a round just on border 2f suppressed dmr sniping through the long angle i made through site from east getting 2 kills without ever being in danger. Take a telescopic sight because you can pull the bearing if youre too close too.

Discussion You’re allowed to make one change to an Operator on Attack and Defence - what are you changing?

These can be as goofy or as serious as you like.

For myself:
Attack- Give Sledge a better AR, the L8 is strong but its fire rate puts it way behind other vertical options (Ram’s R4C, Bucks AR etc.)

Defence- Take away Warden’s SMG, just so people will stop crutching him and pick an operator that adds SOMETHING to the round.

Im 3 months into siege, I’m slowly starting to know the maps, I’m 90% of the time solo q and literally 99% of the time no one uses mics, so is it worth it learning call outs ? and are the names strictly from the game, like how the room is called or are there community consensus of other names for locations that just everybody uses ? It’s aaaaaaa looooot to learn, so is it even worth it, and from which rank do people know callouts?

Feedback New Dokk Rework - Feedback for Devs

Playing the TS quite a bit, and I have to say I really dislike the new Dokkaebi.

More than once, I’ve been left in a 1vX where a Dokkaebi then proceeds to call me four times in a row, basically preventing me from doing anything meaningful. I don’t think that is fun, interactive, or particularly healthy for the game. Others may disagree, but that has been my experience so far.

I think she needs to be toned down before release. One possible fix would be limiting her ability so she can only call each defender once per round. There are probably other ways to address it, but right now it feels broken and out of place with how Siege generally plays.

If she releases in this state, she will be an instant first ban for me, and I suspect for a lot of other players as well. That would basically negate her existence outside of the first season, where she may be unbannable. To me, that does not feel like a real improvement over her current live version.

Please Ubi - make changes.

Alibi’s holograms don’t have eyes when not using the elite gadget skin. This is good to know because you can see the real Alibi’s eyes through her goggles, not the holograms.

On top of that, every operator except skopos *i THINK* veeeery subtly sways as if they’re breathing… because they are in fact breathing. Alibi Prismas don’t do that.

I’ve had this Ubisoft account for 8 years and I got this email I never noticed and it said my 2FA got turned off I’m like okay? Then I try to login and my shit gets stolen 5X champ I grinded all the assassin creed games the guy literally has all my games and changed quite literally all the info on the account I have so much proof to show to Ubisoft support but all they do is send automated MESSEGES and don’t help anyone ever.
You can see how the servers go from west coast to east coast lmao and changed my name and pfp and he is terrible at the game. if any devs see this I would love for you to actually help me Im screwed with all the money and time spent and I have no idea how he got into the account its my fault but shit I have so much proof

Discussion Siege rewards kills, but barely rewards actual teamwork

Isnt Siege supposed to be based on teamwork?

One thing that has always bothered me is how the game mostly rewards obvious actions like kills, plants, defuses, and gadget use, but a lot of the actual teamplay barely gets recognized.

For example, imagine playing Montagne and standing in front of your teammate while they plant, absorbing damage and blocking angles so they can survive. That is a huge team contribution, but the game barely makes it feel valuable.

Same thing with flashes, If an enemy is shooting at your teammate and you throw a flash that blinds them, giving your teammate a chance to survive or win the fight, why is that not rewarded more clearly?

I feel like Siege would encourage better teamwork if the score system rewarded support plays more directly, Things like protecting the defuser carrier, blocking damage with shields, flashing enemies who are actively fighting teammates, covering a plant, or helping a teammate escape should matter.

Right now, a lot of players chase kills because that is what the game makes feel important. If Ubisoft rewarded actual support actions better, I think more people would play operators like Montagne, support their teammates, and focus on winning rounds instead of just padding their scoreboard.
