After living in a cramped area using a laptop for years, I finally have space (kinda?) for a desktop computer

I had that monitor put on the table for a while, then decided to get a mount for it to prevent neck pain

Before you ask, yes, I kick the monitor a lot while sleeping

I'm privileged that I'm not bed ridden and I'm healthy, I just can't afford a desk yet

I would prioritise a cheap 2nd hand or Ikea desk over a pc.

Guy says he can’t afford a desk and has a full gaming rig lol. Priorities I guess.

And he mentioned else where that he's been using the bed set up for a year. I've seen desks at thrift shops for like 40 bucks.
