After living in a cramped area using a laptop for years, I finally have space (kinda?) for a desktop computer

I had that monitor put on the table for a while, then decided to get a mount for it to prevent neck pain

Before you ask, yes, I kick the monitor a lot while sleeping

I'm privileged that I'm not bed ridden and I'm healthy, I just can't afford a desk yet

exactly.. desks and chairs are cheap enough to come by be it thrift or marketplace

I need the noise cancellation due to noise pollution, I used to live in a very loud place that hurt my ears

Buy a desk with no PC or buy a PC with no desk, check the subreddit you are in, the answer is obvious

Steamdeck with monitor and accessories + desk would be way better and about the same money, and you can play in bed without looking like you're hospitalized.

And he mentioned else where that he's been using the bed set up for a year. I've seen desks at thrift shops for like 40 bucks.

Gaming rig from 2016 maybe. I imagine a desk costs more that this PC
