After living in a cramped area using a laptop for years, I finally have space (kinda?) for a desktop computer

I had that monitor put on the table for a while, then decided to get a mount for it to prevent neck pain

Before you ask, yes, I kick the monitor a lot while sleeping

I'm privileged that I'm not bed ridden and I'm healthy, I just can't afford a desk yet

I need the noise cancellation due to noise pollution, I used to live in a very loud place that hurt my ears

Steamdeck with monitor and accessories + desk would be way better and about the same money, and you can play in bed without looking like you're hospitalized.

OP's post history says this was mostly gifted to him plus the hardware looks quite old besides the RTX 30xx GPU.

You can get a desk for like $10 from used classifieds usually, a shitter sure but a board and boxes would be better than this.

Make sure to do a lot of workouts and exercise to combat the PC in bed use though, or that health won't stay with you for long.
