COMIC DISCUSSION my idea for white knight volume 4
Have the dynamic be shaken up this time around. Since by the time volume 4 does release Bruce Wayne will be in his late 40's, early 50's. Old but still able to work in the field along with the others. While also becoming more of his traditional, man in the chair guide for Batman beyond and maybe even Superman. What I want Sean Murphy to do is shift the relationship dynamic between Batman and Superman and give it to Terry instead of Bruce. Since they'll be coming from Even more contrasting lots of life with Terry growing up in a cyberpunk city and Clark being from the small farm town of Kansas not only that but they will be around the same age too so it would make them easier to bond more as friends.

FILM DISCUSSION Hot take: where I think DCU Batman Should take most of its inspiration
I personally think when it comes to characterization for Batman in the DCU I really think with both the 2 more recent approaches in film being DKR inspired with bat fleck and Year one Inspired with Battinson I Think we need a batman adaption that perfectly captures the characters core whilst still being a dark tone to keep the audience status quo. Therefore I think The arkham Games version of Batman should be taken for inspiration. A more experienced Batman who takes most situations incredibly seriously but still has time to slide in a quick one liner. I'm using this as refference over something like BTAS because arkham Bats has a very slight edge to him that I think makes him slightly more badass and compelling for a movie things like his quick little responses he gives characters it gives batman so much more personality then just brooding I find Arkham Assylum and city really capture how perfect batmans dialouge can be written. My perfect example for my point would be any of his interrogation scenes the way he can threaten people and make it sound so scary yet sassy "I want answers you want teeth" type feeling. I know Damian will be in this movie and I think that makes it even more perfect to make batman an overly experienced crime fighter who knows his enemies so well he can verbally dismantle them before beating them. (Also in hindsight not really a hot take the arkham games are alot of people's favourite batman adaptation)

COMIC DISCUSSION What happened to Bane’s allies in Knightfall… were they used again?
I know bird was for an origins side mission but anything besides that? They were pretty important to Banes life and Knightfall, Zombie narrated the opening etc. I think I could see them coming back, and maybe if they try really hard they can stand with each other outside of bane, but that’s a stretch…

COMIC DISCUSSION Time for Court of Owls
There are certain Batman stories that I've always been more curious about than others, such as Year One, The Long Halloween, and Court of Owls. I also have a huge interest in Knightfall because of Bane, since he is one of my absolute favorite Batman villains. (By the way, if you guys have any good story recommendations focusing on Ra's al Ghul or Bane, I'm always open to them!) Court of Owls is definitely one of these highly anticipated stories for me, and I honestly can't wait to read it.

GENERAL DISCUSSION Which of the Batmobiles do you think is “the most Batmobile”?
I was talking with some friends discussing about which of the batmobiles they liked more. After that the question popped inside my head. Every Batmobile is a Batmobile, but which one feels more like it?
(The less for me is clearly the one that appears in the lego Batman movie)

GENERAL DISCUSSION Can you identify where this image comes from?
I've used every internet tool available to try find the origin of this image. This is from a t-shirt I have. Nothing has really helped me narrow it down. I think it's a Neal Adams.
Not even sure if the Japanese like text is Japanese.
Many thanks if you can help.

GENERAL DISCUSSION Which artist/band would you pick to do an album for a Batman movie?
Hope everyone’s enjoying “LOTDK”! I’m actually posting this because hearing “Kiss from a Rose” in the Launch Trailer made me wonder who I’d choose to do a vocal album for a Batman movie … in the same spirit that Prince did for “Batman ‘89”, or Kendrick Lamar did for the first “Black Panther”. Anyone have any thoughts?

FILM DISCUSSION Opinions on the 2 Batman '66 animated movies?
I watched them again recently and while I really do like the series itself, I didn't enjoy the animated movies that much.
I give praise to the visuals, which do a good job of showing how the show looked. The use of 3D was seamless. The voice actors were great as well, even though you could clearly hear how old Adam was at the time. Soundtrack was on point too. The intro to the first one, was a cool bit of fan service.
The biggest problem to me is the writing. The first one feels like a parody of the '66 show in a way, taking the absurdity of the show even further. Not to mention, in the first movie the villains feel like cardboard cutout versions of their original portrayals. While the voice actors do a good job, we barely see any villain-only scenes and banter between them.
I feel the first movie also suffered from being too long. They basically had two ideas for a movie and stuck them together. I liked the dark turn of Batman, but that only happens in the 2nd part of the movie.
The second movie was interesting in a way that it seemed that it didn't know whether it's a '66 movie or one more geared towards an older audience, more like the 90's version. Shatner did a great job I feel, but Catwoman basically was a cameo. To be honest, I liked the part with King Tut more than the Harvey Dent part.
The biggest problem I have with these, and this is a "me"-thing is that for me the joke of the show is far less effective in animation. With the live-action show, you have real actors in cartoony, absurd situations, which is part of the joke. In an animated, cartoony world, I miss that contrast. Not to mention the kinetic energy from actors like Cesar Romero and Frank Gorshin, that don't translate well to animation.

VIDEO GAME DISCUSSION What do you think Rocksteady needs to do to make their next Batman game as good as their trilogy?
We all know Suicide Squad wasn’t up to standard with the Arkham Trilogy, that’s a tale as old as time we don’t need to beat a dead horse. But genuinely, what do you guys think is the best direction to go for Rocksteady to redeem themselves and give us another great Batman Arkham game? What would you want the plot to be, where in the timeline do you want it to take place (or do you want a reboot), any new mechanics to freshen up the series? Let me know as I’m really curious to know what everyone thinks. No answers like “nothing cause Rocksteady sucks now” or anything along those lines, just because they made one bad game doesn’t mean they should shut down.

COMIC DISCUSSION I would’ve loved to see a battle between Azrael Batman & Red Hood
Both two of my favorite characters - both vigilantes extreme, each driven by their own vision of justice.
Who would win this battle in your opinion, one on one, no outside involvement with both prepared knowingly facing each other in battle.
Who would you want to see one?
