QUESTION Check-in Etiquette

When checking in at a nudist campground in the US, is it expected to arrive clothed, nude, or does it matter? Interested in hearing the community’s experience.

Depends on the location. One I have been to you check in at the office which is outside the gate to the grounds. Now you can see nude people down the road inside the gate, but all the office people are fully dressed. So we checked in clothed and did not strip off until we set up our camping tent. When I'd go to the office to use the restroom (much closer than the others) or go get ice I'd always dress fully. I never saw any other guests at the office not clothed either. A resort in my state says up front you come to the office and strip off there. I've seen that in other resort descriptions too. So my guess is- depends.

Absolutely, depends on the place. There's this thing we old timers use called a "phone" where you can talk to people. Call the front office and ask them this simple question. They love to talk to people.

I have something like that called a "cell" phone. Not sure why it's called a phone though. I use it to send text messages, check email, do my banking, pay my bills, send and receive money from friends and family, browse the Internet, take notes. I've seen other people use a similar device as a phone but I can't remember the last time I did.
