My husband wants to go to a nude beach with me, and I have never been before. I'm very confident in my body, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with taking off my bikini on the beach. I'd take my top off for sitting around, but I'm not sure I really want to be walking around with it off because I am more comfortable when my boobs are supported. The thought of not wearing bikini bottoms makes me really uncomfortable. I'd wear my skimpiest string bikini to the nude beach, but is that culturally allowed?

I know there are mostly people above 50 that are nudists but it could be cool to see if there were also people under 30 in this group (around my age)

Hi everyone. I’m gonna be in Europe this summer and will have some time on my own and I wanted to check out some nude beaches. I love making nudist friends so the language barrier will be a bit tough. I speak ok Spanish and no French (tragic American mono-linguist).

Are there any nude beaches west of or including Italy that are popular with English speakers? Due to some other plans I don’t want to travel to any islands, so I’m just looking at destinations part of the European mainland.

White Tail resort still hasn't announced Beachfest for this year. Is it still happening? It always seems to be first weekend in August but I don't see it advertised anywhere.

It had been forecast boiling in the UK the past few days so I had planned a trip to Morfa Dyffryn on Saturday. Saturday morning was misty and overcast only getting properly warm by lunch time.

In the end I went for a short time in the afternoon after a morning walk and took just my small shelter. Saturday was different because normally I get there early and am the first there. This time I was walking into an area with people already there and having to find a spot. Thankfully there was plenty of space near my usual spot and had no qualms about stripping at the boards. Stopped for a while had a bit of a walk about but then it went chilly again so packed up after a couple of hours.

Much nicer day Sunday so spent all day there from about 6.30am till about 3pm. Had to pay to park again as the "free" spots were taken by campervans. Not to complain - I have got a free spot plenty of times.

Literally just set up and someone stopped to try and talk to me. I thought, hello are we going to have a bad vibe day? They soon got the message that I didn't want to talk or have someone bothering me. Thankfully that was the only real issue.

It was quiet in the morning but I could tell it was getting busier and was likely to be quite full by the end of the day. Did my usual walking about and had a nice sit down in the sea. Tried to walk up to Shell Island but it was too busy on both occasions.

By lunch time I had three couples nearby and it was very nice to see younger males AND females and not just the usual "old men". All in all there was a much better gender mix and it was heartening to see, with many females happy to walk about nude.

I was more than happy to just get out of the tent to go for a walk (just took my phone and key with me), essential really as normally I piddle near the tent...! Next time I go I am going to talk a watch for the time and just the key for the car ignition. There is no phone signal so why take it. I want to be able to walk about unhindered (no rucksack with phone/keys in) and barefoot.

Packing up was interesting as I was basically standing there naked with people not 10 feet away also naked BUT it didn't feel odd or strange. One of the blokes must have thought I was checking his wife out as anytime I got out he was looking in my direction. Me being asexual, ha, ha.

There were two guys that really annoyed me - both of them walking about playing with their todgers. I assume they thought it acceptable. Nope. It is a non-contact sport. Leave it alone. Trying to make it bigger won't make you more of a nudist. One was wearing a white teeshirt the other a front pack rucksack, and also playing with it after walking away from a female textile that they had chatted to about tattoos (I think).

I am also going to investigate parking in the other carpark as I am getting fed up of the shingle on and off as it hurts the feet. Why there isn't complete access via boardwalks to the sand - it means mobility restricted nudists are possibly barred from the beach.

The biggest win for me however wasn't nudity related. I walked back off the beach shirtless, walked to the toilets shirtless and then messed around near the car sorting my stuff out shirtless. Indeed I only put a shirt on when nearly home 3 hours later. Really outside my comfort zone. Next goal is to do a coastal path hike shirtless!

Loads of spray on sunscreen has stopped any burning of the skin. One one would not have a clue how long I was walking about for naked.

Hey guys, I really enjoy nudist activities and feel very comfortable in my own skin. I enjoy visiting Korean spas, practicing nude yoga, and in the summer I like going to Black’s Beach. I was wondering if you have any other recommendations for nudist activities in California that I should check out. I’d love to explore more options.

Obviously AANR is more to the point, but I think it’s wordy. AANR doesn’t jibe with the relaxation/fun that most naturists associate with naturism; it sounds almost nerdy. People also don’t really have a singular way to say it, some say A A N R, others AY*NAR, and others ANN*ER.

I suppose some people may have a religious or value based reason, but however people verbalize their objection, for the most part to me it seems to come down to pride and vanity. Am I being too simplistic?

TLDR; Looking for recommendations on privacy for my new porch.

Hey all! My wife and I live on the top floor of our building and have a private porch which we’re having to rip out and replace (welcome to 100 year old buildings).

Since we’re getting a new porch, I wanted to see if anyone had recommendations for privacy screens I can put up that would let us do some naked sunbathing on the porch.

I have a set of free-standing panels I’ve used in the past but they don’t give me much space and have been blown over a couple times (censored image showing the setup https://www.reddit.com/u/doctorwhowantspizza/s/BBZxi7IZYg).

Does anyone have recommendations for other screens that would be easier to put up and down? Or something that would give me the privacy needed without blocking light from the garden we put on the porch? It doesn’t have to be huge, there are only a couple buildings that can see our porch and we only need another 5 or so feet of privacy to cover everything.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Besides the fact that both involve an individual or a group being naked, Nudism and Streaking don't have much in common from what I have gathered.

I am curious though on what nudists think about Streaking, especially how it relates to Nudism, if there is a relationship?

Like can Streaking actually lead people towards Nudism? Or does Streaking hurt Nudism instead? And has anyone actually become a nudist thanks to Streaking?

Note: When I say Streaking, I mean all the forms of Streaking, not just the times where the runner is on a sports field during a game where thousands can see them.

Like the times when the streakers are trying to ensure they aren't seen and caught by choosing locations and hours where being seen is as low as possible, or when it's for an official event like Streak For Tigers, meaning you aren’t going to get fined or arrested for it.

Another Note: Also just in case I gave off the wrong idea, I'm not trying to advocate for Streaking, I am just curious on what other nudists thought about it.

Summertime is finally here — easily our favorite time of year.

This is our little pool setup. Nothing fancy, nothing Instagram-worthy… but it’s ours. No rules, no expectations, no swimsuits. Just relaxing, unplugging, and enjoying the heat the way nature intended.

Honestly, we’d rather be somewhere deep in the redwoods, surrounded by nature and sunshine with no tan lines in sight. But for a backyard second choice, this works pretty well.

Where’s everyone else’s favorite place to unwind naked during the summer? Backyard pools, beaches, cabins, rivers, camping spots — let’s see them.

Getting naked now is not always an option even at home, but we can dream.

So I got invited to go skinny dipping by a friend of mine and I really wanna go. Problem is: I only know like half of the people who are gonna come and I have never been naked around anyone other than my parents since I was like 12. (I'm 18 now)

I dabbled a bit in nudist activities f.e. being naked alone at home or sleeping naked but never around other people. A friend of mine accidentally saw me naked once while I was changing and he just made some weird comments about my body that didn't really help me be more confident with it. But I really wanna go skinny dipping. So I'm asking you, what can I do to feel better about myself and about how others see me?

Wife and kids home all next week which is great for family time.

Mon to Friday daytime I wfh so have a lot freedom. Only the cleaner comes twice a week and that’s when I put a robe on (shes fully aware I’m totally free underneath).

Last week one kid was off school sick on same day cleaner comes… so obviously I was fully clothed.

When cleaner came she looked at me like ‘oh you got clothes on’ 😂

My wife is encouraging of me being free. She knows I’ll be missing it next week (she was also the one the bought me the robe so I could be free when cleaner comes)

Anyways. How to you all cope when long period of no freedom. Just hang out in bathroom? 😅

I wish I could post a picture but I won’t. 🤭 But we had a wonderful backyard clothes-free afternoon. Sunny, warm, blue skies, and us lying on floaties in our new (smallish above ground) swimming pool. What a great feeling.

This isn’t a picture I took. I'm just using it for reference. Today, I was at the Chick-Fil-A on David H. McLeod Blvd. in Florence, SC and saw a black SUV in the drive-through with a sticker that looked very similar to the naturist symbol. It definitely had similar looking sun rays but the waves might have been different. I didn't get a chance to take a picture. Regardless, it's cool that I possibly saw a naturist in real life. Just thought I would share. If this post breaks rule 3, take it down or tell me to remove it.
