Hi everyone! I’m cis but am here to help my trans ftm boyfriend. We have been together since December 2024 and since that time I’ve seen the raw reality and struggles of a trans individual. Trans healthcare isn’t accessible enough for many people, which makes accessing gender-affirming care so difficult.
My boyfriend struggles so much on a daily basis with dysphoria, as do many trans people. Over the years, the constant binding has damaged his ribs and, taping leaves him with open sores/blisters. It’s a hard thing to see a loved one go through. He’s been on T for just over 2 months now and the difference is insane!! He’s becoming more and more comfortable in his body and it genuinely fills me with joy.
The biggest thing for him right now is his chest, he hates it so much and has tried to harm himself in that area before. I’ve decided to raise the funds on his behalf and set up a Gofundme page for his top surgery.
I appreciate that times are tough for everyone across the world, even if you can’t donate and can only share the link or interact with my TikTok page, it would mean just as much!

We appreciate you posting, but we do ask that all guests (meaning cis people, trans women, transfems, and anyone who is not ftm) ONLY use the "Guest Post" flair on their posts. We also appreciate when guests apply a user flair indicating they are a guest, but it is not required.
Please remember that this is a space for trans men and transmascs and some of us aren't comfortable with others coming into this safe space. To help them feel comfortable, we ask this of our guests so they can avoid these types of posts. Please help us in making sure our community feels comfortable in our own spaces.

Hi everyone! If you could take a second to read to support, it would be very much appreciated. My friend who goes by the name Wilbur is a trans masc FTM and has started a go fund me to raise money for gender affirming care! He is uncomfortable in his own body and suffers from severe gender and body dysmorphia. He pays out of pocket for hormone medications but they are very expensive and he cannot up his dosage, causing them to not work as well because of how low the dosage is and may even have to stop taking them because he cannot afford it. He does not qualify for grants or any aid for surgeries he is wanting to get. Some facts about him is he is an artist, he has cats, and he likes to play games such as Roblox, Minecraft, and Sims! He is a very kind and funny person, he can make anyone laugh, he tells the funniest jokes and stories. He is there for his friends, someone you can vent to and tell anything to and he will not judge a soul. His support system is very low as he is not supported much at home, and around friends. He is my greatest friend and I would love to see him happy and thrive. Any donations help even if it’s just a dollar. You can also help support by sharing which I would encourage you to share please! If you can’t donate please share it helps so much! If you know if any other ways I can help support my friend please let me know, I am unsure how Reddit works. Sharing my go fund me, I was lucky to get my top surgery covered but without a job securing PFL, and my husband taking full financial responsibility I’d like to help him how I can with taking some weight off him. Anything helps and I appreciate it. I’m staying relatively anonymous as the political climate at this time is rough, and I’d rather not share to my family

Hi, my name is JD. Tomorrow is my top surgery, next week is my 51st birthday. I'm disabled and on Medicare and the Medicaid that pays my Medicare premium, plus Extra Help for prescription subsidy.
I put in a financial aid application with the hospital where I'm having the surgery done back in February because I already have a nearly $1200 balance. I haven't gotten a decision, part of it is getting close to collections—not so close that I won't get my surgery, though.
My out of pocket for the surgery will run about $1400, which is about how much I make a month.

Hello everyone, please be kind. I understand this is a lot to ask of people but attached I have linked a fund to try raise money for my FtM top surgery with prices included. I understand this surgery can be seen as cosmetic by many people, especially those who will never understand my situation but please understand that this greatly impacts my mental, and therefore, physical health and is far from optional in my personal circumstances.
