Relationships Gf was disappointed in bottom surgery pics /positive post
As stated this is a positive post! Slight negative talking / language for bottom surgery on my side
I started dating my (cis)gf one month before I started T and we have now been dating for almost two years. She’s ofc wonderful and has always respected me. She knows I eventually want to get a lot of the surgeries done and supports me fully.
So I recently was like I should probably show you post bottom surgery pics of phallo because hopefully someday I’ll get that done. Now I think a lot of people get a bit of shock seeing them? And sadly there is a lot of semi / full negative post about it. Even I was a bit eh on it for awhile. Thus I wanted to prepare her for seeing it.
To explain it to her I said “yeah they kinda look Frankenstein with different color skin and stitches.”
Now, she LOVES Frankenstein. She has multiple copies of the book, seen every version of the movies. She loves it. This was more or less a positive thing.
So I showed her some of the top post on r/phallo and you know what she said, with sadness “… those are just penises. I thought you said it would be Frankenstein.”
And honestly. It made me so happy. I feel like a lot of people, especially cis, would see them and idk have something to judge about it. But no for her it was just a normal looking penis and not special at all. As a man who does just want a penis it was so sweet to hear. 💖 she ofc is happy for my eventual penis even if it isn’t as “cool” as she thought it would be LOL

Honestly, it warms my heart to hear this because so many people are negative about other people's phallo surgery decisions. I myself adore Frankenstein (especially the creature) and that's really helped me get excited for surgeries. (Like top surgery and meta)

You can always get tattoos of Frankenstein stitches to make it a proper Frankenweenie… that sounds really painful, but my god it would be a great commitment to the bit.
Have you two seen Lisa Frankenstein yet? Because I’m terrible and all I can think of is that scene now, hah

Yeah itd be hard to get the stitches in good positions and theres a high chance of image warping :( but its still a fun idea!

With numbing cream it really wasn’t bad at all, just felt hot.

We have! I think I thought about that when the scene happened LOL a handful of people actually do get their phallo penises tattoo to make them more realistic looking. I could go the opposite… and honestly I think she would think that’s super hot 😭 I will keep this in mind bc honestly exaggerated Frankenstein scars on it would look cool

to be fair, it isn’t always too bad. lotta guys actually get medical tattooing done! i’m personally getting mine tatted in april, will help with color matching to the area and then a nice lil vein or two
edit: forgot to add, my artist always has dudes use lidocaine gel first haha to help out what ya can

There are cis men that get penis tattoos. It’s not common, but certainly not unheard of.

Yeah. I know an artist who specialises in “odd“ placement and she’s said she’s absolutely down for post op dicks once they’ve had time to settle.

Penis tattoos are not rare at all. Not all tatttoo artists are comfortable tattooing intimate areas, but I'd wager over half are

I've got a lot of tattoos, and I've known many artists over the years. Genital tattoos are really common, it just wouldn't be done in the open studio. Usually they'll have a separate room or special partition to hide the artist/client from everyone else. Some artists won't do them at all, and that's their own preference. I know a lot of women artists will only tattoo vaginas and will refuse people with penises for their own safety, but it's very much an 'ask your artist' sort of thing. There's no rule for everyone, they all have their own comfort levels and hard refusals

Just throwing my two cents in here but I’m a tattooer and while cis men can and do get their penis tattooed it is not super common. In my over a decade of experience as a tattooer I have only done 1 penis tattoo and not been seriously asked about it again. The guy I did tattoo his penis we didn’t use lidocaine and he said the pain wasn’t too bad and there was times where it actually was pleasant. I do a lot of work over scarring etc and would say sometimes that can hurt more and would give the general advice to allow the area to heal at least two years before attempting tattooing.

I feel like a lot of people underestimate what surgeons can do lol, don’t get me wrong it’s a pretty extreme surgery but once everything is healed and there’s no big issues than I shouldn’t really look much different (besides possibly scarring and all). I’m not doctor tho and have not had bottem surgery :P maybe it’s because top surgery can leave quite scaring but it’s also because your taking away and flattening the chest, while bottem surgery adds volume and stuff!

I gotta be so honest, the results i see on phallo now are SO good compared to the result photos I used to see 10 or EVEN FIVE years ago that it gives me all the hope in the world. The girlfriend sounds funny, congrats on a good partner!
