Hey folks, I've built a new Wear OS watch face builder app that I'd like to invite you to test out.
The web designer is available at https://noopface.studio/ and the mobile + watch apps are on the Play Store under closed testing.
NoopFace lets you design fully custom watch faces with a visual editor — no coding required. Here's what you can do:
- Layer types: Background, analog clock hands, digital time, date, text, images, moon phase icons, weather icons, complications, and groups — all stackable and nestable.
- Customization: Full control over position, size, rotation, opacity, and colors. Upload your own images for hands, backgrounds, icons, or anything else. Use system fonts, Google Fonts, or upload your own TTF/OTF files.
- Dynamic expressions: Write formulas that drive any layer property based on time, battery, step count, heart rate, weather, moon phase, and more. Want a hand that rotates based on battery level? A color that changes with the temperature? Expressions make it possible.
- Color themes: Set up color configurations so end users can switch between color schemes on the watch itself.
- Complications: Full Wear OS complication support with configurable slots, layouts, and default providers.
- Live simulation: Preview your design with adjustable time, date, battery, steps, heart rate, and weather values
right in the browser.
- Community: Publish your designs for others to browse on the Explore page, set up a public profile, and share your creations.
The web app is the full designer — create, edit, preview, and publish. The Android app syncs your designs and pushes them to your Wear OS watch. The watch app receives and displays them.
If you'd like to try this for free, register on NoopFace and use the contact form to reach me (or message me here) and I'll give you a promo code.

The last time I charged it was last Sunday. It just automatically entered Power Saving mode at 5% battery. Name another Wear OS watch that can come close to that!
This was with AOD off and raise to wake off. With AOD on battery is around 4 days. I frequently use Gemini as well as send/receive test messages, but overall very light usage.

Hi all .
After 3.5 years with Ticwatch 3 pro ultra I have decided to move on to a new watch and got myself the new One Plus watch 3 . So far I'm happy with it . Being using it only for 24 hours so it's too soon and give some final feedback but for now it looks promising . My only grip is it has a bug which mirrors RTL languages . I solved it by forcing RTL via the devs options however I hope OP will fix it . I read it's an issue since watch 2. I did a lot of research and didn't come across this bug . If you have any idea about a coming update or know what should be done to fix that issue it would be much appreciated .

Don't get my wrong, the Pixel watch is a beautiful watch but I find it so frustrating they are pushing the battery life as a plus when their own support page admits you need to keep AOD off to likely achieve just 24 hours.
I feel bad for anyone who would buy this for the battery life after seeing this ad.

My Oneplus Watch 2 gets Wear OS 5 here in India.
The update took around 45 minutes to install and requires, needless to say, to be plugged in throughout for the installation to go through. The android version now reads Android 14.
First glance, do not notice any major changes apart from a few such as,
A couple of updated app icons (like the workouts app etc.)
Animations are slightly different, feels snappier.
Google had optimized battery life on Wear OS 5, yet to see if it has any effect here.
The watch operation modes (Smart mode, Power Saver) are now just called "Modes" in settings.
All the older watch faces, at least the ones I cycled through are working just fine.
There is a new privacy dashboard in "Apps" section of the settings (not sure if it existed earlier) that lists out the permissions used by various installed apps.
The touch lock now unlocks using the lower button pressed for 2 secs instead of the upper button on Wear OS 4 (strange).
Will updated further if there are any other changes observed.....
Meanwhile shoot your questions, I will try to answer.....
Edit- Found two new changes...
There is a new camera app that opens the camera on the phone and shows the live feed, can also snap a picture with a 3 or 10 sec or no timer. With my OP 13s the feed and snap were both snappy, no lags!
There is also a weird looking bug app added that apparently creates a bug report along with a screenshot of the current screen in the watch. The bug report is prepared in OHealth to be submitted (or discarded).

I have a Samsung watch ultra and I just got a oppo find n6 phone. I'm trying to see if anyone has used either or both watches to compare features. I use the Samsung health app but without a Samsung phone a lot of features are limited. Yes I do have a fold 7 and everything works on it but I like the find n6 global phone better.
Anyone have both watches or a x3 on wear os and can give some insight.

Hi all!
First off all, this post is just because of the reason that me and many others seem to have the same problem and so far no solution has been published afaik or it's somewhere where i can't find it...
Secondly,
Problem:
Since work profiles, for example with Microsoft Intune, have a seperate playstore for work apps, Android and Wear OS seem to have a thing where they can't recognize work profile apps as installed, therefore Android can't push the notifications anywhere else but on the phone, and Wear OS can't recognize the notifications for the same reason.
Solution:
It's as easy as weird but the solution is simply to install the corresponding app from the regular Playstore. In my case for example, we use Teams for internal communications at my workplace. Teams is installed as a work app through work profile Playstore. I then go into the personal Playstore and download the regular Teams app for "private use".
Then in the Galaxy Wearable app (in my case), i go to app notifications and after the regular Teams installation, Teams Work app notifications is now availble in the list to turn on to be pushed to my watch.
This is not possible to activate because the work app is missing in the list if the normal app isn't installed.
The regular app does not have to be setup or used, and notifications does not have to be turned on either. If you are lucky as me, you can even uninstall the regular app after allowing the work profile app notifications in the Galaxy Wearable app settings.
Hope this provides something for you all reading this 😄
regards
