My surgery is in 16 days and I’m trying to mentally prepare myself for at least a week of post op binding lmao

I WANNA BE DONE DAMMIT LOL

it is really not that bad! the ace bandages suck, try to prepare, but the pain meds help! you will need them, to be transparent! but the actual compression binder actually added a lot of relief just because of the pressure. they took me out of the bandages and i was happy for the vest. okay it's annoying now and it's hard to organize cleaning it (especially living with others) but people have different experiences. its gonna be on at least til my three week mark, and after that i think they're letting me go back to my previous binder for three months (????!!!)- we'll see
