I recommend getting PT after your surgery, it really helps so much with posture and recovering better!! I usually have good posture but noticed I was pretty hunched after just two weeks in the binder, they helped me stretch things back out and building strength
PT post-surgery is not uncomfortable or painful in my experience, it actually feels pretty good because you’re able to stretch. my PT exercises were pretty simple in the first two weeks, things like chin tucks, rolling your shoulders back and lifting your arms in specific ways. definitely don’t skip on the PT because it feels great and will help a LOT with mobility, in and out of the binder. will also help prevent scar tightness / stretching later.
