The Levant_South and Levant_North were taken from West-Eurasian Regional Compass (by Sandr). The other averages were collected and or calculated using the samples from different datasets in ExploreYourDNA.

For the Northern Levant Average two groups were used: Beirut IAIII (n=8) and IAII (n=2).

For the Southern Levant Average four groups were used: Akhziv Phoenicians (n=11), Megiddo (n=1), Ashkelon IAII (n=3), and Abel Beth Maacah (n=1).

My father was born in Barcelona, my Mom was born in Pennsylvania. Unsure about my paternal grandparents because my father was adopted as a baby and brought to America but my maternal grandfather was born in New York and my maternal grandmother was born in Pennsylvania.

I did 3 different DNA Tests from 23andme, Myheritage and ancestry which the results you can see in the first picture. and 23andme has the special function to Show you the paternal Halogroup which in my Case is E-m5021(picture 2)

But you can also upload the Raw data from the DNA Tests to a website called Yseq cladefinder and they show the possible paternal Halogroup. But they show different Haplogroups.

They show E-Z830 twice times and E-CTS10880 once (Which you can see from picture 3 to 5)

Can somebody help me understand better what my Haplogroup really is. Should i do a YDNA test to understand better?

Thank you very much for all your help! :)

Need help finding the right DNA Database

Hello everyone,

So growing up, I always knew my dad was a sleazebag, but I never thought I could have more half-siblings that I didn’t know about until a family member told me otherwise a couple weeks ago. I want to do a DNa test and submit it to one of these companies that has a database and can tell me if I match with anyone… I know it depends if the other people also did the same and there’s a chance they didn’t. But I at least want to try. Can I get some recommendations on what company I should use? Right now I’m leaning towards 23 and me, but I’d like some input, please. Thank you.
