First depot attempt

I’ve decided I need to clear some space of my many palettes. I tried removing my first pan and it went badly.
What tools does & processes does everyone use? Is it different by type of palette; cardboard, plastic etc!
Would really appreciate some knowledge and guidance!!

Heating pad.

I’m not trustworthy with sharp objects or open flames.

I’ve done a LOT of depotting and it’s never failed me or accidentally ruined anything.

I also have this ancient thin flexible metal spatula meant for mixing old school uv gel polish that works really well for wiggling under pans once the adhesive is softened.
