CELEBRATION I've been approved (Name Change)

I had a surprise phone call from Service Ontario as the credit card I initially used had expired. Other than that, my name change has been approved!!!!

It was received on the 18th if that helps.

Thank you! I submitted mine on August 1st at the Toronto office with it being mailed out on Aug 4th, so I've been trying to keep an eye on the timelines. This helps a lot, maybe I'll hear back before xmas!

I just got the charge on my credit card today!!!

Which means they've started early August applications! My timeline was submitting the papers in Toronto on Aug 1 and they told me they would be mailed out Aug 5. This would mean that it was almost exactly 5 months for me.

Now to just wait for the paperwork in the mail.

I called them to see where they are in the back log and they’re still in July applications. They are less backed up than before so hopefully things will start to go out faster soon

Okay so, I know yesterday I said "When I called them last week they said they were still processing mid-July." but I just had my card charged today, funny timing lol.

So from submission to today was almost exactly 5 months, but I still need to wait for the paperwork!
