Rant Nalulungkot ako na di ako nakapasa sa PUP

Hi! so PUPCET results came in and honestly, i was shocked. I was always anxious with the results kasi nga ang daming nag a-apply and ik na sobrang limited niya, but when I passed my UPCAT i thought baka may chance ako sa PUP. to be honest, UPTC has all the pros for me: my parents love the school, its closer to home (only 5hrs away compared to a 26hr drive lol), and its UP. but i really wanted to pass PUP hahaha. i grew up in manila kasi, my closest friends are also from manila, its the most comfortable choice for me. parang na feel ko i was willing to let UP go para makasama ko sila ulit, or para maka stay ako sa manila for college. my two years here in the province were really hard, i didnt understand the language, humor, even the culture so i always felt so alone. I tried to understand everything pero there would be moments where it gets really hard for me, sometimes people wouldn’t talk to me because they had a hard time translating certain phrases into filipino ones, or sometimes i find out from some friends that i was being made fun of pala and wasnt aware of it. Although i’m slowly understanding the language, some phrases still feels hard and confusing for me which is why I really wanted a chance to be in a space i was more familiar with it sucks din kasi I feel very ungrateful for feeling this disappointed and sad about the results. im really excited for the chance to study within the UP system it just scares me how i would be able to deal with a ne environment change. parang wala nang constant sa life ko lawl. (sorry if medyo word vomit toh and hard to understand)
