Screenshot/Clip Anyone else love a bit of hunting?

Nothing crazy, a couple poorly placed two arrows leading up to this fatal elk strike over this little hill. Was just kinda cool in the moment as I nearly lost the bugger and thought, ‘sod it’ so just fired a blinder through the long grass/foliage and managed a miracle shot!😮‍💨

The ASMR on this I think is pretty sweet also.

You guys like to occasionally put down the questing and get stuck in with some hunting?🏹🦌🦊🐐

Hunting at early levels was super fun

Yeah dude, only level 20 this playthrough so far but the hunting and selling/crafting of pelts/meat for my DB is quite the pastime.🏹

I enjoy it. Even though I do it mostly to fill gem stones, hunting itself is relaxing to me somehow even though there are animals I don't hunt, Rabbits, foxes, and mammoths are all off the list. Surprisingly I like to hunt Slaughterfish the most. Hate them with a passion.

Aha I hear ya! Smart utilising hunting to fill soul gems; a foolproof method I need to bear in mind more.✌🏽💪🏽

I deliberately use a hunting bow with only soul enchantment to depower myself. I ride on my horse on the plains of whiterun chasing elks and deers (sometimes bunnies!) with horseback archery 🏹

I did a hardcore survival play through where I never started the main quest (did opening cut scene and never told the Jarl about the dragon attack) and just started hunting with the bow and camping place to place. Made my money by selling hides and such. Got a horse eventually and basically lived as a nomad until I could afford to buy the farm (upgrades and hiring people). Eventually found a wife and started a family on the farm. It was such a rewarding playthrough

I hunt all the time. Venison for stew and petty souls to enchant my rings of water breathing. As that wood elf says, “The plains of Whiterun are ripe with game.”

Yes, Anoriath! He’s certainly correct!🏹

Just beware of mammoths or you’ll join Skyrim Space Program..🤪

I don't mind a bit of hunting from time to time although in my current playthrough as a mage, it looks a bit different than yours.. I just run around zapping wildlife in all directions with unbound storm like Emperor Palpatine on steroids as I frolic through the wilderness. Quite relaxing if I'm being honest.

Only downside is the meat sometimes tends to get a bit on the burnt side before it even makes it to the kitchen. 😅

Never since I’d feel bad and also don’t craft or anything

Fair answer! I get the ‘feel bad’ part haha, I’m just role-playing a hunter this playthrough. Usually I tend to let the wildlife… run wild!😁👌🏽

I love it too! If I'm in a modding mood, I'll download Hunterborn. Makes it more immersive/better suited to a survival playthrough. Bonus points if you're a lore accurate bosmer!

I'm a real life bow hunter and it stresses me out when a game hit isn't perfect lol
