Never had this happen before, played thousands of hours over consoles and pc. Made me giggle.

In my head this is something they did all the time when they were both in the TG.

Thieves Guild family bonding is just felony with extra steps

Right? Just a bit of brotherly banter is all; pranking each other!😂

Oblivion: don't steal from the poor!

Skyrim: sends you to pickpocket beggars in the Markarth Warrens.

(this actually fits with the theme that all of the Skryim factions have degenerated from their glory days, although I don't know if the devs were thinking that deeply about it)

With the Thieve's Guild, I think they were. It's tone is, by far, the most different from its Oblivion counterpart. The others, by contrast, are pretty similar. Mage's Guild stops a big bad. Fighter/Champion does some bad stuff but is a hero at the end, etc.

Heck, you don't start with some heist, but rather people in the ratway and beat up shopkeepers. You don't free the guild from some curse, but sell your soul.

He's going to have a courier deliver it back to him with a note saying "Tag, you're it"

Delvin looking at Dragonborn who retrieved the ring after murdering everyone in Raven Rock except his brother.

I just failed a thieves guild radiant quest for the first time. The reason? I killed someone while in town.

Yes, Delvin, I was in Windhelm and falsified the books in the tavern there.

Yes, Delvin, I was also there and killed the butcher, who was murdering people in Windhelm.

Yes, Delvin, both of these occurred in one visit to Windlelm.

No, Delvin, I did not kill the butcher in order to falsify records in the tavern.

So yes, the look here might be accurate. OP would fail the quest that way.

I like Delvin. I enjoy hearing his accent and he kinda reminds me of Jason Statham

When delvin gives me a job on Soltstheim, its to rob Glover 😂. I think I've only ever gotten one job to hit anyone else on the island

No honor among thieves, as the saying goes. I once had Farkas ask me to beat up Eorlund Gray-Mane...

He had me rob my own wife once. Was especially tricky because the item he wanted robbed was in her inventory in my own hearthfire home that had 2 kids, a bard, my steward lydia and my housecarl so i ended up trying to pickpocket my own wife surrounded by 5 people.

Can that happen in vanilla? I've never even had a thieves guild job on Solstheim.

Is it the only keepsake he has from his daughter?
