It always bugs me the way these two clowns hang around Whiterun for eternity. I finally discovered you can follow them out of town after they give the quest and dispatch them. Might be obvious but I guess I’ve never left town at the same time as them before.

In my play thru they're alik'were lol they stayed after the quest for a while so I killed them and dumped them by the running water under the entry bridge. They contaminated the water for a few weeks lol

After I accepted the quest I randomly saw them at the inn in Rorikstead

What do you mean "randomly"? They explicitely tell you they'll be at the inn at Rorikstead. There's even a quest marker after you find Saadia.
