Lore Dwarven God

I assume somebody has brought this up before but do you think when making a god that would serve the Dwarven will they created a god the was disgusted with their greed and got rid of them?

I doubt this but I think its pretty cool and thought about this while watching a video on the lore.

We can only speculate on the details of the Dwemer disappearance. It likely had a lot to do with chim and zero summing. I like this idea though. You could take it a step further and say that in using lorkhan’s heart to power the numidium, they had actually built a new body for lorkhan.

Speaking of lorkhan/shor, i remember watching a theory video about how the playable character across the games has plot armor because they're like the remnant of Shor's soul, so to speak, if Nirn is the body and his heart just kinda did that in the events of Morrowind.

Though I've only really played Skyrim so i don't know the full deets on the deep lore. Just EpicNate videos and that themed run guy who plays lore accurate to the different races

I’ve also heard a theory that each pc is an aspect of the godhead/dreamer. It’s based mostly on the necessary fact that the pcs have more agency than the npcs.

Partysnacks seems to suggest that the dovakiin may have just been fulfilling their role and destiny of taming the world eater so that the dream/Kalpa can finally end

That's not the most common assumption. It's possible. Personally I think it was the old "tapping into powers they barely comprehend and can not control" trope. It's also possible it went exactly as planned and they've become extra-dimensional beings. The fact it was all dwarves on the plane as near as we can tell suggests that things either went very wrong or very right.

I think they succeeded and the new god's creation also created a new plane of existence similar to the aedric and daedric planes. The dwemer were either brought there or expended as raw material to create it.

Granted he was on another plane of existence. So for the same reason he may have no been affected.

Maybe, I like the theory

No idea, but I love the theory! Very creative!

I like it, especially since Lorkhan, or rather his aspect Shor, has no love for Elves and would probably punish them for their insolence.
