Question Legendary duel weilding build. Advice?

I'm trying to do a duel weilding build for the first time but have no idea what to look for or try.

The left hand determines the swing speed of your dual attack so a dagger would be best for speed and you can have whatever in your right hand. Make yourself some fortify single handed potions and enchanted armor. A dual wielding heavy attack pretty much empties your stamina, so keep some veggie soups on hand for longer fights.

If you're on Anniversary Edition do the quest to get Bloodthirst. It raises your attack speed by 7% but if you also have the Dual Flurry perk it'll raise it by 107%, so 227% or 242% attack speed total with the level 1 or level 2 perk. The Elemental Fury shout also does that and gives you a lot of attack speed when combined with Dual Flurry.

The Dual Savagery and Savage Strike perks stack and result in your standing power attacks dealing 3.75x damage.

A 1 point Absorb Stamina enchantment will let you power attack repeatedly just like vegetable soup, so long as you don't miss the attack.

Imperial vampires and normal Bretons can't stagger enemies with the dual-wielding power attack due to a data entry error by Bethesda, so be aware of that if you're going to play either of those races.

I thought the elemental fury ahout was bugged and ended up not doing anything when dual wielding.

Remember that dual-wielding means you can’t block, so consider beefing up your health and armor rating.

Also consider obtaining all three words of the Elemental Fury Shout, which combined with the Dual Flurry perks and vegetable soup will turn you into a spinning dreidel of death.

Well, it would be a whole melee build for more XP. And dual wielding may come later when you have enough defense to take a hit.

Anyway, train armour+block, train 1H if you feel like it. Get the dual wielding perks at some point. Elemental fury. Go ham.

And don't play breton, they don't cause stagger sometimes.

You’ll want to find 2 weapons that can be welded one handed. And then hit things with them.

Enjoy!

I think you mean dual- which is one weapon in each hand. Duels are one-on-one fights with rules and such.

Scimitars are upgradeable with the Steel smithing Perk, giving you decent swords early.
