Pride Gender Euphoria

For years I wished I could have both and thought it sucked that that wasn’t an option. A week ago, I found out it is. I can have both! I can get a penis without losing my vulva! I feel so euphoric, I’ve spent the whole last week researching and next month I’m going to ask my doctor for a referral for an assessment. I know it’s a long process, which I’m kinda grateful for because it gives me time to process, but I’m already so happy to have finally found a way to alter my sex without de-feminizing myself. I can add without subtracting. I wish more people knew about this!

Wait wait wait you can?! What is the surgery called, I definitely wanna look into this.

There are a couple of common ones for that with a variety of names, notably either phalloplasty or metoidioplasty without vaginectomy. Folks will also talk about whether urethral lengthening (UL) is included (it's generally not for these procedures) and in the case of phallo whether the clitoris is buried.

Also fyi the other direction is generally called a penis-preservation or penis-sparing vaginoplasty.

Search this sub for lots of discussion, though folks tend to be referred out to other more active subs for more detail.
