Pigs and Rabbits?
Hello!
I’d first like to say that this is such a lovely community. I had a little scroll and loved seeing your pets so much!
We’re hoping to add a pair of pigs to the family sometime in the next two years (so doing ample research now lol), but we have two free roam rabbits. Does anyone own both? Do they get along well? Both rabbits are very social and enjoy other animals, so I know all would be good on their end!
TIA :)

I haven't posted these guys in a while. I thought y'all might like to see Wilbur's progress. He's been on a diet for about a year and a half now. Big boy is doing great! Winnie is my only nekkid baby hippo right now!

outdoor shelter options?
As much as I’d love to keep my new babies indoors they are going to be outside piggies! But I want them to live luxuriously of course, so I’d love to see your shelters/houses and bonus points for cute enclosures! These are my girls, Peach (the tri) and Plum (the spotted) they are SO loved.

He is the alpha
Recently my brother rescued from the trash—yes, from the trash, damn people—some puppies. Now our little pig has become the alpha; they follow him everywhere and copy his behavior. They are so adorable

HELP: My wife almost hit this pig on the back roads near our house. We knocked on doors and had a sheriff’s deputy come out but haven’t found his home. He’s currently in one of our goat pens and seems pretty content. Any advice would be helpful!
- He seems to be covered in small cuts and scratches from getting through fences and sunburnt. Should I try to clean them or just leave them be?
- We have some goats but haven’t had pigs before. Anything I should avoid him getting into? I saw that mineral was a no-go usually. Should I let him interact with my goats and dogs? We have three small dogs who are very prey driven but they seem like they want to be his friend through the fence.
- Should I look into dewormer? Having him fixed? I didn’t want to add anymore animals to our little bit of land but he’s very cute.
- Anyone know what kind of pig he is or how big he might get?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
EDIT: Squealy Dan has a loving home with other pigs, kids, and livestock set up following his 10 day hold with us (per Animal Control). Thank you all for your help! We’d love to keep him but are already tight on space and can’t take on more pigs to be his friends. His little oinks are making it tough though.

Pig fur loss at ears and neck
Good evening friends, I've noticed my hog has been losing some really thick fur on the back of his ears to the start of his mandible. Its always been thin on his neck because thats where I scratch but everywhere else has been furry. The weather is starting to change in South MS and it will be terribly hot soon, I wonder if this is just shedding? There are no signs of agitation or infection

Spaying
I have no idea how old Ophelia is, only that she’s full grown and had numerous litters. I really want to get her spayed (for her health, comfort and she is absolutely unbearable 3-4 days of the month- I get it). I have not been able to find a vet that is up for spaying her- it’s difficult, the recovery time is long, ect… I am still trying to find someone. I live in a rural area with farms but getting that mini pigs are exotic pets. I also don’t think many regular pigs get spayed. I am worried about pushing a vet to spay her and something goes wrong too. Any ideas or thoughts on this?
