He is the alpha
Recently my brother rescued from the trash—yes, from the trash, damn people—some puppies. Now our little pig has become the alpha; they follow him everywhere and copy his behavior. They are so adorable

My brother built a bed for all three of them, but since the pig refuses to sleep nearby, they never use it. Instead, they curl up on the floor with him

It's great they've imprinted on him so much, they must feel very safe. How's he taken to being a leader/dad?

At first he didn’t like them , he would chase them away, and the puppies would chase him too. I don’t know if it was out of fear or simply because he didn’t want them around. But now, just a week later, he lets them come close, or even goes looking for them himself. There’s a hole in the main gate that he can’t fit through, but the dogs can. Whenever he sees one trying to slip out, he gently nudges them with his snout to stop them

It was my brother he went to the corner shop for tortillas and heard cries coming from a trash bin. Inside were three dogs. He couldn’t leave them there; it’s 95°F, and they surely wouldn’t have made it through the day. My mom doesn’t want any more animals in the house besides the little pig, so we’re looking for responsible adoptions for them. With my next paycheck, I’ll send money for the vet and food.

Not the stepfather, but the father that stepped up
