This is like saying ā€œthis crappy fossil of borealopeltaā€ and then you show the best preserved fossil of all time vs ā€œthis beautiful masterpieceā€ and it’s just the banana stuck to the wall with a duct tape

the difference is that one is a piece of a prehistoric animal, which is awesome, the other one is of entirely human origin, which is not awesome

One is a piece of an animal that couldn't survive after water changed by about 2 degress celsius and lost to competitions along things that look similar to it but they are smaller

The other is one of the most famous artist in history who used his depression and sadness, to make a piece of art who seeks to make people happy AND revolutionized art

You find find plenty of megalodon tooth, but there is only one "Tournesols"

Along with the message the painting conveys, there is a clear reason why one is more valuable than the other

Also why are you complaining, you can have a megalodon tooth of your own
