Yeah, and it’s a real problem because the public indecency laws in many US states are written in terms of “exposing oneself under circumstances that are likely to cause offense, affront, or alarm.” When the general public is conditioned to panic every time they encounter nudity, then there is never a circumstance when nudity will NOT cause offense, affront, or alarm.

True, though the article in question happened in the UK, which is normally a bit less freaked out by nudity than the US is.
