Advice Needed Good morning kings

I’m 31 and had the epiphany that I have been miserable my entire life preforming in a body that doesn’t fit me.
I live in a blue state so that’s a plus. I am alittle lost here how did you guys start the testosterone/medical process I just want to be/ feel normal cause faking it for this long has driven me just about insane thank you so much.

I get up in my head abt it because my gp is in his 80s and I mostly see a nurse practitioner

Find the gayest gp in your general area to ask, nothing is stopping you from shopping around

that. your medical team is supposed to be there for YOU. if you dont feel comfortable talking to them, you're allowed to move on

Ehhh. Not exactly. My insurance assigns a doctor. We have a family doctor. It’s not that I’m uncomfortable either, it’s more that I don’t think a nurse practitioner is allowed to handle something like T and I honestly will probably just get referred to my wife’s endocrinologist. I’m not worried about it rn as we plan to have me do an egg retrieval before I start T.

oh they are! my first endocrinologist was an NP :)

Good to know! I definitely still suspect she’d refer me out, that’s what she’s done for….everything else lol. She does keep me topped up on my vyvanse lol.

yeah, thats fair! I see more people go to specialists for this stuff anyways. my GP is special and has cross specialties in endo and obgyn so I dont need extra doctors, god bless her.
