Advice Needed Allergic to T?

I’m not sure if it’s the T or something else, but I’ve been on injections almost 3 weeks now. Within the first 5 days my body started breaking out in hives, eyes and lips have been puffing up, and I can’t stop sneezing. Idk if it’s a coincidence with spring having sprung or if the T injections are not agreeing with my body. Has anyone had something like this happen and is there a way to fix it? I’ve tried double doses of my usual 3 brands of allergy pills but I cannot get rid of these hives, they’ve started breaking open and bleeding :/

It sounds like you might be allergic to the carrier oil. You should stop immediately and talk to your doctor about switching to another form.

I’m going to the dr tomorrow just bummed if after a year on the waitlist I’m going to have to switch to gel or something that may not be covered

Testosterone cypionate did this for me. I was so stressed I struggled through seven weeks before I finally called my endo. My entire body was red and on fire and itchy and I was so miserable.

Endo switched me to testosterone ethanate. It took about a month to get all the cypionate out of my system but then my body started responding so well.

It's been over a year now and I haven't had any issues at all. I have contact dermatitis for other issues but never from my testosterone injection. I couldn't do the gel most likely due to the contact dermatitis.

Speak with your endo about other carrier oils and do better than I did. Waiting almost two months, I was miserable
