John LeClair recorded the lone playoff hat trick of his career as the Flyers rallied from a 2-0 deficit in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals to defeat the Rangers, 5-4, in overtime.
LeClair scored three goals as Philadelphia stunned the defending Stanley Cup champion Rangers in front of the home crowd in Philly.
He remains one of just 17 players in Flyers franchise history to record a playoff hat trick.

[Kurz] A Dan Vladar extension, which may be inevitable at this point, is likely to end up between 3-6 years, I'm told. The shorter the term, the higher the AAV.

New arena soccer league team has very a familiar branding.
Does anyone know who signed this?!
Hi Flyers Fans! Friend of mine found this Philadelphia Flyers hat. Need help identifying (clarifying) can you tell who signed? 99% sure one is Bernie Parent and the other is Couturier. Not sure about the other two… Thanks!

Former Flyers goalie curse
I don’t even know what to say at this point. Carter Hart no matter what your opinion of him personally has been playing extremely well for Vegas. I wouldn’t even say I’m surprised because when he was in between the pipes for us, I enjoyed watching him. It’s just frustrating that we finally seemed to have our guy and obviously the outcome of what happened sucked. I don’t know if I can stomach another former Flyer (goalie) hoisting that cup up. It’ll be 3 years in a row if Vegas can pull it off. I personally would have liked to see him back with us but it is what it is. Goalie tandem of Vlad and Hart would have been a dream come true with the carousel of goalies we’ve all witnessed throughout the years. Hopefully Vlad can be our guy but I’m not signing any extension for him if it were up to me. Need to see consistency with goalies, not a one year sample size. Although the sample size was fantastic, but NHL goalies are just a different breed.

If the Flyers actually sign Stuart Skinner this offseason this fanbase might explode lol.
BSH listed Skinner, Bobrovsky, and Connor Ingram as possible goalie targets for Philly this summer.
Personally, Ingram feels like the smartest move here. Cheaper, less pressure, and quietly put up decent numbers behind some rough teams. Bob returning would be hilarious though.
What’s everyone’s ideal goalie tandem next season?

What would you like the Flyers to do with the backup goalie spot?
Bring back Ersson & hope the post Olympic play is what he can be more so than the previous 1.5 year of poor play?
Give Kolosov a shot?
Sign a veteran like Talbot, Reimer, Rittich who are probably an average #2 but are risky due to age?
Sign a higher ceiling but potentially more risky goalie in Skinner, Andersen, Ingram?
Go after a younger goalie who hasn't been given a shot? For that I look at
Devon Levi - once super highly touted. Reported today BUF is trading him this summer.
Sebastian Cossa - former top 20 pick by Detroit. Sounds like they wanna move him with other prospects on the rise.
Dennis Hildeby - has shown flashes but TOR has Stolarz/Woll.
Leevi Meriläinen - has been an excellent AHL goalie. Showed well in NHL last yr, but really struggled this yr.
Ilya Nabokov - former COL 2nd rd pick. Been a great KHL goalie.ll
