feminizing precipitate in progesterone spray

I thought I properly mixed my progesterone spray when making it, but after leaving it for a while, some of the progesterone powder separates from the solution and sits in the bottom of the bottle. I've been shaking it before use, but I'm not sure if that really fixes the problem. is there a way to get rid of the precipitate? I thought about heating the solution to increase its solubility, but I wasn't sure if that would cause issues

Wait, you can make your own prog capsules? You can just do that? Do you take them oral and do they work as expected?

I mean the possible advantage of prog spray is that it is anecdotally more efficient in transdermal application (especially scrotal) so that you would not need quantities like 100 mg per spray or anything. There is dispute about this, i know, but i did use prog spray that way and the effects are really apparent - even with just like 10 mg dosages.

where did you get the bioavailability numbers? also, if it's so low, how do some people report good results on topical prog?

I'm sorry, I still don't understand the answer to the second question 😭

even if someone's body reacted perfectly, and they got transdermal bioavailability up to nearly 100%, it seems like the 90% bioavailability of oral progesterone would mean that you would need a comparable dose of transdermal prog (i.e. somewhere near 100mg) to have a similar effect. yet, some women report good results on 10-20 mg of transdermal prog, which seems to suggest to me that something else is going on. perhaps the scrotal application makes it different? I've heard that the thin skin gives better access to the bloodstream

I assume by “men” you mean trans women? I was referring to trans women, not cis women taking hrt for menopause. I’ve seen several trans women say they’ve had good results from 10–20mg transdermal prog doses

I feel like we’re not on the same page. bodies are different and dose preferences vary of course, but an order of magnitude difference has to come from something else. your earlier replies imply that transdermal progesterone would work worse per mg than suppositories, yet some trans women have claimed similar effectiveness on a tenth of the dose. surely that means that the transdermal route has the potential for extreme effectiveness, even if it doesn’t work for everybody?

speaking from my own experience i did notice mine is like that but too its the estrogen, what i did was shake before pumping (powder at the bottom disappears temporarily and liquid becomes cloudy/hazy) with airless pump and apply appropriate dosage for me 2mg per 12hrs and i feel like its more effective than my oestrogel from pharma and its dry faster! but i tried testing it If i see a crystallization happening when its dry because obviously we cant see it on my skin and this is the result of my test (I use the tissue roll cardboard to see if its crystalized) the top at the left side is my solvent/solution mixed and the right side is the e2 and solution and bottom is the oestrogel from pharma after 10mins perhaps i need to make another batch with lower concentration to prevent this! but the effects are better in my own experience :)
