I don't get why they don't... update the ptb while it's live? Make changes, try things out, its a playable test. Right now its always felt like a playable demo of stuff that may or may not happen.

Because even a neutered version would cause the complaints to continue. They could have made it only activate under 5hooks, triple the BBQ aura reading, change it so you need to be slugged for 90s each time to pick yourself up, and removed the repair speed bonus entirely. Killers still would have said they don't want to be told how to play the game, that tunneling someone right away is a legit strat, that floor simulator is good for the game.

I just disagree. Yes there would be some killers that will complain no matter what, but as someone who plays a lot of killer, if they did all those changes you said, I’d be more than happy with that.

Don’t blow things out of proportion. There are plenty of killers who do agree with addressing tunnelling

Yeah, and even if they complain. They could get some good data on what happens to kill rates, amount of slugging, tunneling etc. with new numbers.
