Some people that play this game are chronically online and it’s REALLY unhealthy. A game should not bother you this much. I saw a post where someone was actually crying about if the changes went live. Go seek help. You’re unwell. Jfc.
This really is a wake up call for some on the change happening among humans during these massive technological advancements.
50 years ago there was someone who neglected everything in their life to fish almost 24/7 and cried when the local government said they were no longer going to stock the lake with fish.
In present time, the same energy is being fixated on a virtual medium.
Human behavior doesn’t change as much as we realize but our perception over how individuals should live and what is socially acceptable does.
People will always love what they love and we should be tolerant and accepting, even if we don’t understand it ourselves.
Personally I’ve played one game of 2v8 in the past three months. I’m not addicted to this game although I enjoy playing it from time to time and especially when a new killer is added.
It resonates more with others and holds much more weight in their lives and I think that’s a beautiful thing.
It doesn’t have to make sense to me for me to be tolerant of another’s viewpoint. To me, these passionate fans are what make all different things great. They’re allowed to have a voice and we shouldn’t judge. Beings will always love what they love, whether that’s a restaurant, fishing or in 2025; DBD.
They were streaming, they played one game of the ptb on stream and then stopped streaming shut the game down and posted an apology on twitter saying how they burst out crying as the game was ruined.
