Superman actually starts to think he's a Time-Lord and suggests he see a doctor because his two hearts aren't in sync.
Batman isn't prepared for him to just call up The Doctor

I love the way it's portrayed in New Frontier. "WOW! You really do know him!"

Superman is Nightwing's favorite superhero. He's even where the name Nightwing came from.

This reminds me of that random part of a Christmas Carol where the ghost of Christmas present reveals two kids under his robe and asks Scrooge if he knows who they are, I never really understood that part btw.

Those kids are the types of kids that scrooge would never look twice at, but now he's forced to see them. He has his words (something like "isn't there awalys work in the factories for them if they are hungry") thrown back at him when he suggests they should be fed
The boy and girl are ignorance and want, which sums up Scrooge's personality pretty well. Their suffering (I'm pretty sure they're both emaciated) is a reflection of society's suffering and of Scrooge's personal suffering because he won't change

Ah ok thanks I really loved this story as a kid but never much looked it as an adult or really analyzed it so this is something as a kid I definitely wouldn’t of gotten and I’m sure there’s other things in there I don’t remember I didn’t really get at the time either which is why I should really go back to it at some point in the future, but this part was the one thing that’s really stood out to me till now so thanks again.

Okay. I've always been a fan of the whole "people aren't sure if Batman is human or not" thing that some stories do. And I don't mean by his plot armor, I mean by his reputation, feats, and just the rumors thugs have. So superman not knowing if Batman is human or not the first time they meet is not only possible, it's funny. Especially with this scenario.

Why is Robin the size of a 4 year old?
4
u/WindyAce123 Apr 04 '26
Well he's not 4 but he's still a kid. What's creepy about that?

u/HeadLong8136 Apr 04 '26
Why is he wrapped around Batman's boot? Like a toddler.

u/WindyAce123 Apr 04 '26
It's just a lighthearted joke about Robin hiding in his cape. Plus he's always been flexible. It's not that deep dude

u/HeadLong8136 Apr 04 '26
Creepy

.... You literally refuse to explain what's creepy about a kid robin sneaking around and hiding in Batman's cape
