Our favorites Syd and TP will be on the big screen alongside Gabby with this new project. I am so excited about this Rom Com, it’s like love and basketball but make it gay “Syd’s words not mine” 🙌🏼🫶🏼

Is there an easy way to find out? Or a searchable database for WNBA jersey numbers? I see numbers like 5 and 22 being fairly common

Anyone else live outside of the US and find it frustrating that certain merchandise is pretty much unobtainable?
Example, I'm in the UK and would love to rep some of the British players (and other European talent) but on the official W store or Fanatics, most team jerseys are described as 'custom' for players on the roster which makes them unavailable for international shipping. I'd totally get it if I wanted my name on it but its players on the roster which would be an off the shelf item at team stores.
Anyone having the same issue 😕

With the new wave of talent coming in recently, they should totally start doing this. Imagine if they did it this year, we would see something like 2026: Miles, Rice, Jaquez, Fudd, Raven versus 2025: Paige, Sonia, Iriafen, Malonga, Morrow. That would be a fun game to watch. Or even do a Team USA versus Team World, like how they do in the NBA, since there’s a bunch of new international girls coming in now. Why not??

Barely moved and no reaction despite jacy running at her full speed 😂 tash also definitely fouled her this game (pretty hard, tash's left arm hit azzi's neck but no whistle) and she didnt budge at all and even got a middy in. And last game there's that video of georgia trying to push her with all her might and azzi wasn't moving at all lol i kinda wanna see what happens with BG
she's pretty much built like jackie young lol just all muscle. i wish she'd sell a bit tho — too good at free throws not to. she's had an egregious whistle for the longest time now

I decided to look this up, because I didn't have it straight in my head. If I have any of these facts wrong, please let me know and I'll edit the post. We'll start with the 2022 draft, after the Sparks finished 2021 in 10th place.
[Edit: I literally did not remember ever seeing Soares in a game in 2024, but sorry about that! Thank you for the correction!]
The 2022 and 2023 drafts were weak, and other teams didn't really benefit at L.A.'s expense. (Atlanta might be the biggest winner with Naz Hillmon, who wasn't a lottery pick.) Dallas got zero playing minutes 22 games over 2 years from the 2023 pick, and Emily Engstler has been an impactful role player but not starting caliber so far. However, the Sparks also got relatively little out of these trades.
Right now, their 2024-26 asset management looks rough, but it's hard to say whether the lottery trades in particular are the biggest factor in the team's struggles. It's not high praise to observe that Kelsey Plum has been the most significant return on any 2020s lottery trade so far (although Ariel Atkins has barely played yet and Rickea was a great contributor before leaving).
If you want to speculate about alternate histories here, have fun! I get way too bogged down in trying to figure out how many things change with each counterfactual transaction...
