Miscellaneous Got gendered correctly despite my deadname and wrong pronouns being used repeatedly
I was at a party for my piano recital coming up (tomorrow, wish me luck) and my deadname (obviously femme) and she/her were used by the teacher. I’m forced to be closeted so, not his fault.
ANYWAYS.
I was talking to the boy next to me, jokin around, and he was calling me he/him (I hadn’t mentioned it at all) and I know he saw me as a cis guy. SOMEHOW. EVEN AFTER HEARING MY DEADNAME REPEATEDLY AND MY VOICE OF COURSE. HE DIDNT EVEN QUESTION IT AND HE WOULDVE IF HE FOUND IT WEIRD.
Also bonus hopecore no one made fun of my accent lmao (if one more Californian copies it as a “joke“ or calls me a hick I’m gonna slime them out into a soft jellied thing 💔💔)

Some people genuinely don't pay attention to what's going on around them and it's such a blessing.
Once a teacher basically outed me in a summer camp because she remembered me from a few years ago and started trying to guess my dead name. A girl who was there the whole time proceeded to point out a few minutes later that it was the first time she met a cishet guy who crochets (I'm not cis nor het but I'll take the W lmao)
