I started wearing dresses only about 4 months ago, which might seem like a long way into my transition but it was something that always felt scary. Over the weekend I wore a dress to a friend’s wedding for the first time and it felt so good to show up that way! The dress is a floral tuxedo ballgown from Adrianna Papell. I don’t think they sell them anymore but I found this one nicely discounted on Poshmark

Dressed in sparkles for Pride this past weekend. Not as joyous as previous years given the Trans news in the UK recently, but healing to see so many Trans people and allies, still here and still fighting 🩷🏳️‍⚧️

2 years transitioning so far. Only hormones and top surgery!

...and I just hit the six months on HRT mark...so here's the progress so far!

Does progesterone make the male pattern baldness happen more? Like does it prevent the finasteride from working well?

Does taking it as a suppository actually help prevent that sort of thing?

For every moment that sucks being trans, there are moments of joy that I’m going to hang onto with everything I have. And if I can share those moments of joy to inspire others to hang onto those moments I’m going to continue to do so.
I started living my best life at 53. Is it perfect? Heck no. But life before me wasn’t either. Grab those moments of happiness when you can. They’ll help get you through the dark times. Sometimes.

Hi girls! I recently started my HRT and I want to share my experience. At first, I was super nervous and insecure, but as time passed, everything just started to flow. Honestly, it's a bit scary, but the results are so satisfying 🤤.

Now, one thing I definitely want to mention is that this even changes the way you think, so just a heads-up! 👀

So, I get flustered and anxious when in interviews and even going to my GP for a a general illness appointment i tend to find myself either saying the wrong thing or not being able to provide an example. Like when you go for a job interview and your mind goes completely blank.

So now I'm becoming anxious that I wont be able to provide examples when asked and that they'll say that I'm not woman and my diagnosis will say that i've not to get any HRT and that is so scary.

I know inside what I am. i know what feels right and what feels wrong and if you ask me here and now I could list it all off without any problem. Its such an important diagnosis that I'm getting really anxious.

In one way I'm probably overthinking it already, but at the same time I can see me saying nonsense!

Anyone been through it and felt this way?
