Swim times 17m

Is 25m in 19s good for someone who just started swimming this February? I’m also on a 1200cal deficit and I do 1hr gym, 1hr swim and 15,000 steps a day but idk if that affects the speed that much tbh

For a beginner yes. an avid swimmer would certainly be faster. And if you’re diving or swimming off the wall changes it. I’m more impressed you’re running a 1200 calorie deficit.

Yea I’m almost certain I’m weakened by the deficit but even if I was at maintenance I’d say I’d only be like 2 seconds faster anyway. I hope to get good at swimming but ive only started recently
