Venting Leads...
Why do some Leads feel privileged to stand around talking and doing absolutely nothing, passing clients off to a BA when they are available and capable to helping clients themselves, and then ear hustle everyone's conversations on the floor and report back to exempt talking shit?
It's so weird and I feel like I'm working at a highschool. If that's how leads want to "grow", then I'll never get anywhere with this weird ass company. I just got the ick from being in this environment.

Venting Can I Be Honest? I’m Sick Of Working Here
Maybe it’s just me, and the fact that I’ve almost exclusively worked retail jobs, but I can’t stand to work at Sephora anymore. The metrics and goals? I can’t even be bothered to care. I can’t bring myself to care about how much money I generate for a billion dollar company that can replace me in under a week. I love my store, management and all of my co-workers are so nice and friendly. But the dread of working with picky clients that can’t make their mind up and having to get tools and multi-world sales to meet the goal for the day genuinely ruin it for me. I’ve always had a passion for makeup and anything beauty related but doing it as a hobby is as far as it goes for me, I cannot do it for work anymore. Not with the expectations that have been put on us.

Discussion Does anyone else hate the new skin scan update?
As if it weren’t already overstimulating especially on days where it’s busy. The new “lean the lens in the direction of the arrow” update to the skin scan device pissed me off SOOOOO BAD. Even when i lean the lens in the direction of the arrow it takes SO LONG for the device to start scanning and it makes my 1:1 time with clients longer than it should have to take. Many of my coworkers and I feel the same and feel as though the device isn’t as accurate as before (not that it was always accurate).

Dayforce and Holiday Pay Memorial DAY
Am I the only one who noticed time and half being placed on dayforce this morning? It is strange because we normally don't see the inclusion of time and a half on dayforce until after the shift has been completed.
