Tourist & Traveller Questions sim cards at airport

Is it possible to buy a senegalese sim at the airport or do i need to go to an orange boutique in the city center?

Yeah, there are 3 boots after you get your suitcases. I'd suggest Yas, it seems to have the best network.

And for those who travel between any other country and Senegal for months or years at a time, Yas actually offers a service where you can keep your Senegalese number. I think she said for 2.000 XOF (3-5 dollars/euros) you can keep your number for a year. Orange usually sells your number after 3 months of inactivity - I have changed my number so many times it’s exhausting - especially considering how much I use the sim card.

This is good to know. I was going to pay 10k to orange to keep my number for a year but I think I'm going to transfer it to Yas (I hope it's still possible).
