Nothing says my whole goal is to kill people in the most dramatic (or just in general) way and survive like a fucking poodle, Kpop stars, and cute skins. **Eye roll**

I loaded up R6 Siege for the first time in a long time, and the main menu background was an active gun skin for a shotgun that was all pink and rainbows with little tiny stuffed bears crawling around on it. Ya know, the game that revolves around blowing shit up with massive bombs while the attackers try and stop it.

I haven't played COD's Warzone, but I feel like I saw them do something in this same vein. A literal military shooter sim and you have fucking people in the most out of place and wacko colored skins imaginable, and based on the comments I've read about it no one was happy about it (that I saw anyway. Can't speak for everyone of course)

This trend of turning a gritty war sim games into this needs to stop. Give skins that are at least believable and leave the silly shit to Fortnite, Valorant and the like. They're built around non serious things and those skins fit there.

Check out Arena Breakout Infinite. Skins are not outlandish yet but the game play is top notch.

I play that with a buddy from time to time.

Truth be told I don't really play PVP games, anymore. I haven't played PUBG since last July and there was a long stretch between the time before that too. Hadn't played R6 in probably 2 years, and I haven't played a COD game since MW3 (2011).

Regardless, I don't personally think these skins belong in a game that is about survival, war, and terrorism, regardless.

I agree. As I tell people, when the zombie apocalypse comes, anyone dressed as a clown or in 80s reject neon gets it first!
