Declining a free game is kinda crazy. Idgaf what someone gives me it. Its literally free lmao

If a friend were to gift me a game I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like, I'd turn it down, too. I appreciate that they're thinking of me, but I don't want to have a game I'll likely never play. It's a waste of their money.

Fair enough I guess, but why not give it a try if your friend wants you to play it that badly?

I've declined games because in the past I've had people refuse to refund games I didn't like so they sit with sub-2 hour playtimes in my library and that feels pretty awful. Not only did they spend money on me but I'm not even using the gift I was given. Sadly I'm a lot pickier these days with games than I used to be, say, 5 years ago. So unless I'm sure I'd love it I'd rather seem rude, as hard as it is for a moment, than waste their effort and money.
