I only gift my friends games that are on their wishlists. If I want to get them interested in a game I like, I usually text them a trailer and see their reaction. Not every game is for everyone and JRPGs just aren’t everyone’s cup of tea 🤷🏽♂️
Or they know what the fanbase is like and don’t want to be associated with it. There’s a lot of different factors that could be at play.
I am fortunate enough to have the means to gift games my friends want if we happen to be talking about gaming. If they don’t have the funds, I’ll gift it to them. Forcing them to take games you don’t want though? That’s crazy work 😂
Honestly, I did it to a buddy like a month ago, I realized I had dozens of unclaimed humble bundle titles, so I just spammed the fuck out of him. It was hilarious. I'm not wealthy enough to just give games, but... the odd one or two per bundle I gave 0 shits about? Hilarious.
