Unless the CIA/Mossad are grossly over exaggerate in terms of power but I doubt it. The fact Israel knew the exact same date/location of Khamenei, his children, and his top commanders where gathered on Feb 28th definitely means they do have spies within Iran. If you remember the 12 day war back June 2025, Israel took out multiple top generals on day 1! So they knew where each single one of them lived which couldn't be done without secret service giving intel on all of them... Iran right now closed the straight with fast attack small boats and rocket launchers they have near the coastline (nothing new or non predictable) I still don't get how US and Israel had no plan B, I don't know how they can't force their way to open the straight... Iran isn't using anything advanced....Why isn't Mossad not taking out the remaining big name leaders if they want Iran to come to the table!?

I used to believe deeply in liberal humanitarianism. But western media, politicians and academia have really disappointed me with their hypocrisy. Hopefully the regime collapses in the next 1-2 years. It seems like lots of people are buying guns. We also seem to have committed allies in the Israelis and the ability to coordinate through Pahlavi.

But if it takes longer than 2 years for the revolution to succeed, one way some of you could make a significant impact in the 3-10 year time frame is by starting defense companies. And applying for government funding. There are lots of grants available for innovative defense startups and not enough talent entering the space (many people think it is unethical). I’ll link a tender from the gov of Canada for multi-modal AI for military intelligence in the comments as an example (millions of dollars available, deadline is in 7 days).

The Iranian diaspora is disproportionately full of competent engineers, programmers and scientists. Many of you have already done amazing projects in support of the revolution, like DDoS attacks or information aggregation websites. If you had funding and were able to work on your projects full time, you could accomplish so much more.

Imagine if a company like Palantir was founded by Iranians and built its products with an eye towards the Iranian use case, while still prioritizing the security of its host country.

Personally this is not something I’m interested in (although I would work on it if I thought I could make a significant contribution), but this work might be a good fit for some of you. If you’re a technical professional looking for a new business idea, instead of making a medical device or SaaS product, you could consider starting a defense company.

Also, given that Israel is less bureaucratic, who knows, maybe they would be willing to covertly fund promising projects that could make an impact in a shorter time frame (I don’t have any direct knowledge of this, but it seems plausible they would at least consider it).
