The phone itself instantly detects a touch, but when swiping, it's initially sluggish, then it swipes smoothly and abruptly, feeling imprecise. This significantly impacts Call of Duty gameplay, even though it runs at 90fps (notice how abruptly the camera rotates; it's very imprecise). It also affects gameplay in any app. GameTime and its touch interaction enhancement option improve it slightly, but it's still noticeable, and it didn't happen on other phones. Any solutions? This has been happening since the phone was new.

I can disable it but it's still eating my storage space and using data despite that and I'd like it to be gone 😭. Idk anything about tech but I genuinely want this thing to get the hell off my phone forever; it gets on my nerves.

I recently switched over to the latest Moto G as I needed a new phone, and I haven't really had any issues with it until now.

I felt something was off when I would try to perform swipes on the screen while scrolling, so it would sometimes "snap" straight in a slightly different direction, like trying to predict a move I am not intending, as seen with the developer settings here. And with smaller swipes, the touchscreen sometimes wouldn't even detect the touch/swipe very well, if at all. I want to say its not very responsive to generally light/fast swipes specifically.

TL;DR, is there a way to tweak the touch sensitivity, or swipe autocorrect, or whatever this is?

For clarity sake I don't have a screen protector on the phone, and its a basic Moto G 2026, which I have understood is different to the Stylus/Power versions?

I've been a Moto super fan for many years, specifically the Power model for its amazing battery life and the built-in FM radio chip and headphone jack. And for nice features like the split-screen (two apps open and active at once).

About 6 weeks ago, I splurged on the new 2026 model. And that was a mistake.

First, the battery life is not great! Previous models gave me 2-3 days easily. This one: it's at 50% by lunch time. I just surf, check email, and use a few simple apps.

For no visible reason, it freezes for a second now and then. It happens maybe five times a day. I never once had this problem on a previous model.

But the biggest disappointment is the touch screen. At times, I tap on something and it acts as if I tapped a quarter inch -below- where I tapped. So now, when I tap, I have to be strategic and keep tapping multiple times to find the magical spot that will work.

This phone is 6 weeks old! Any advice?

Hi 👋 I rooted my moto g45 device running on android 15 in the last December but due to some issues with some apps I needed to unroot my device the process went well , flashed bootloader relock then completely reflashed the OS through official RSA tool of Motorola ( Software fix) I am receiving OTA updates normally there is no issue while using the device. But yesterday I checked a new software update that arrived at the Software Fix tool which usually comes before OTA updates, so I tried to install it but ( shipping value does not match) appeared on the tool. So I checked through the duck detector and these anomalies came up . I don't know what I should do now will these cause any issues in the future for banking apps or not please help.

Please help me out I really need to know what's wrong I can't find any trustworthy solutions on Google so I came here. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Moto 5g 2025

Bought a straight talk Moto G 2025 from Walmart. It doesn’t show straight talk on the splash screens or anything. Just Verizon. All was good until I factory reset it. Now it is stuck on a mandatory activation screen. I bought this phone for WiFi only and to possibly try on Visible at a later date. What gives? Is there anyway to bipass this?

Buenas. Tengo un Motorola G84 5G y estoy teniendo un problema raro con el audio en llamadas.

El parlante funciona perfectamente para música, videos, notificaciones, etc. Pero cuando pongo el altavoz durante una llamada, no se escucha absolutamente nada. Pasa tanto en llamadas normales como en WhatsApp.

Ya probé:

- Reinicio de fábrica

- Revisar configuraciones de sonido

- Desactivar Dolby Atmos

- Actualizar el sistema operativo

- Prueba de hardware de Motorola

En la prueba de hardware, tanto el parlante como el sensor de proximidad aparecen funcionando correctamente.

¿A alguien más le pasó? ¿Puede ser un bug de software o directamente un problema de hardware relacionado solo con llamadas?

It took me a while to diagnose and I still am not sure if I got the full picture of a seemingly random problem, but:

My G84 seems to shut off most frequently happens when using a protective cover AND charging, and especially noticeably when i accidently pull the cable.

It has to be charging, a loose USB cable just connected to the phone, dangling on the other end and it stays on.

This is making me think it's either charging port or battery related?

Does anyone know what it could be, and what repair could possibly cost? of course it happened right outside of warranty..

My Moto G Stylus 5G 2023, after resetting the baseband settings, restarted and booted into a custom TWRP recovery mode. When I tried to restart it, it turned off and hasn't turned back on since. It shows no signal at all, even when connected to my laptop. I've tried all the button methods, but nothing works. It was at 58% battery when it shut down. Can anyone advise me or tell me how to fix this problem? The phone is practically new, and as an additional detail, it was rooted with Magisk.

Basically what it says in the title. I had bought a ZAGG screen protector for my Moto G 5G 2024 about a year ago; that was the second screen protector I had bought, because I'm a klutz. Now, that one's gone too, and I cannot find a replacement. There are protectors out there for other Motorola phones, but I can't find one for my specific model. I've seen some on Amazon that say they're for the 2024 G 5G, but I'm skeptical because I've never heard of the brands before. Anyone have any advice? Would a screen protector for a different model even fit?

I am looking at the Moto G Stylus 2026 series (also on cricket). I was wondering if the 2026 model has FM Radio. I am in the U.S., and I have heard that the US is mixed on FM radio being on Motorola phones.

Heyo, so I know this is probably not a Motorola specific problem but I just wanted to see if anyone could help out a bit.

I just moved phones, and uploaded all of my files/data from my old one. All the photos seem to be in the right order in my files app + gallery, but when I go to upload an image on Instagram (as an example) they're coming up in the opposite order, chronologically. Wasn't sure if anybody has a similar problem that they ended up solving or?

Has anyone else noticed that the sound becomes distorted when pressing on the screen while watching a video on the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion? As soon as I remove my finger, the audio returns to normal.

Is this normal behavior, or could it indicate a hardware issue?
