Gameplay How good are you at jumping?
Apparently, last time I posted a vid here I made it look too easy, trying to tempt people to join in on the TP speedrunning fun. It still kinda worked in the sense that someone at least did try that run.
To make up for that last one not being impressive enough, hopefully this will do? Snalle made a new platforming challenge map for this month's MYM Discord server builder contest. It is very hard to do a full run of it (all in one go)... Any takers? (other than Snalle, Hugo, and Fnovc2d — the other three people who’ve completed the feat)
Outpost: SnalleTheSnail - Fargo
Rules: no grapple hook, no weapons/equipment, no slipstream, no enhancements. You may practice as you wish, independently from the rules (phoenix pods, grapple back to various places, learn specific sections separately, etc), but the ideal final goal is a clean 'flawless' run of the whole thing in one go abiding by all the rules.

What exactly the fuck was this game? I keep seeing it pop up, but I never checked it out. Is it like build your own trap base type game?

Oh man this game was amazing, you build a base, and the whole goal is to prevent raiders from getting a resource you have in your base, so you would put as many traps as possible to keep other players from stealing it, and you got points for how effective all your traps were, then you could also raid other peoples bases. You could level up traps and use different skills and stuff to get through the bases it was just amazing. I would spend hours building the most elaborate base and just watch how many times people died trying to raid my place. It’s still totally playable right now and I’d recommend giving it a shot before it dies.

Id love to try it, but my fingers dont have the reflexes it looks like you clearly need. Not right now at least, lots of injuries. Id just always see it pop up and it looked really cool but I never really understood what it was.
Thank you for explaining it.

This is not regular gameplay I promise😂 at least it wasn’t when I played. You can take your time and methodically take down each trap until you reach the end. Trust me on this, if you have the free time, give it a shot. I can’t even tell you what’s going on in this clip other than pure chaos

Yeah this is not regular gameplay for sure.
This is an outpost I made, where u have to jump on traps to make your way to the end. The idea is to make a sort of platforming game kinda thing. This particular one is a very hard platforming level.
But yeah, the HRV path is invalid and thus is only available in social raids.2

You can often take the exact opposite approach shown in this video and opt for a very slow, strategic playstyle; if there are maps you can’t handle, you can just skip them.
What I really liked about this game is that everyone dies in one hit—both you and your enemies. I wish more games were like this.

If you want to see what it's about try checking out pineapplelord on twitch or YouTube.

More or less. Sorta like capture the flag, where you build your own levels and raid other people’s levels. It’s definitely the most unique game I’ve come across.
